I am in KC and I finally got to try some VP Racing 100 octane fuel which is AWESOME but one bad thing is 8 gallons is 64 bucks which is alright for every now and then endulgence.
Thats an even more expensive indulgence than nitrous...

Maybe... I do know that its pointless for you to fill up with it before a track day because it wont adapt in time.... Its only effective if you run a full tank through then go to the track....
I will try and get it out today.

Soooo....funny sidenote - it feels weird to have my car all the time now & not have to check-in mid-afternoon with the CMS gang to see how our project's coming along.

So, I guess you need to come up with a new project then...
How was your track day? Have another offroad avventure?
Track day was great except for my worn-out Azenis in the rain. My run-flats had better traction. There were only two fairly dry runs out of five and there was water in the same place where I spun twice. I was trying to cut the corner too tightly out of turn 3 and spun down to turn 2 pointing in the direction I had come from and steering while going in reverse to stay on the track. I never left the track, though. I had the run-flats on during my best runs and the Azenis on for my worst. I was drifting through all the turns and not even going fast. They didn't even feel as good as the run-flats when the track dried a little. I loved my brakes, though; I could come to the end of the long straight at 115 mph (corrected, odo showed 119) and slow down at the last second to make the left at turn 15 and 14. We were running clockwise which is the reverse direction. NASA was out there running with us to get ready for the race the next day. I watched a bunch of them almost lose it at "my turn." It was great fun and no cops.
