Possibly. It depends on how generous your dyno was... 181 seems high for only an intake, pully, and crank pully....

In reality, you should be in the 175 to 178 range. I know that the dyno i ran mine on was tough, because Sid's car ran 198 and the two GPs that ran were in the same range as my car. That one that chris used (I believe) is a very tough one as well.

Yea I would agree, Steve will all his mods only pulled a 198 on the same Dyno.

What kinda dyno is it because the dynojet that i ran on has been used to verify and tune 2 race cars to NASCAR Standards this past summer so i would think the dynojet i ran on would be pretty accurate.

Youre comparing two very different things. Accuracy and consistency. To properly tune a race car, accurcy is key. They need to know fuel requirements to engine load and rpm, etc... The dyno could say the car has a maximum of 100 whp, but as long as it is giving accurate numbers associated to tuning, the tune will work fine.

Consistency is a subjective term. All dynos vary from each other to some degree. The best way to compare dyno numbers is on the same dyno on the same day (to balance weather conditions and other various factors)... Dyno numbers can also be alteried by changing the variables that the computer uses to compute power.

The guys from NASCAR don't care how much power they make all they are looking for is the numbers to be the same pull after pull. Not all Dyno's are the same. Do you know all your variables likes what size rims and tires did the dyno think you had? What gear where you in? Because if you make a pull in 1st gear you'll be about 1/2 of what you'd make in 4th gear or if your in 6th you'll make about 1/3 more than you would in 4th. All I know is the place I went and the place Blake went have done a lot of minis. I'm not saying your car doesn't make 181 all I was saying isths dyno you were on might be easier on cars.

17x7.5 w/ 215/40/17, They did 4th gear in all the cars that were there. But then I should get my car dyno'd again see if I have some consistancy.

If you do, take it to a different dyno... Preferably a dynapack...

OMG! How much of a rush would this be? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-ppG...elated&search= Last year, I was hanging around the Ducati dealership trying to talk my old lady into letting me get a bike. She said "get your kicks in the Cooper" (which I'm **totally** happy I did), but could you imagine doing this!?!
