The races yesterday where 1/8th mile and my best run 10.1 with a reaction time of .002. I really really need to work on getting my launches consistant. The check will be mailed tomorrow.
Thats a good reaction time, but I need to work on my launches too. I;ve been getting better, but keeping traction through first is tough.

I took some pointers from a couple professional drag racers and they said launch at a low but good RPM and ride the clutch out in first then drop the hammer after that
I was launching at 3.5k on my best run but on my last run i was being pushed back by the wind at the end of the day so i had to prestage 2 times and then help my revs and flutter the clutch and gas to keep me staged and it made my last run shitty 10.652.
Kevin & I were at his house all day today detailing the Frackmobile. I'm posting pictures in my Picture album for people to check out. Also, Kevin's an absolute detailing genius. Thank you ***very*** much Kevin!!!
What'd Dr.Steve do? Didn't he have to chase some "creaks" in Mark's GP on Saturday? Oh, TSW BBK working a-ok so far. Still definitely in the break-in period but I can tell a positive difference from the IE "BBK".

Got the "creaks" removed on Saturday. I'm glad to hear that your BBK is a-ok. I checked my Wilwoods and the pedal travel seems to be about the same as yours. I think it may be the four pistons require a little more fluid movement.
Attachment 25563Hi all, snapped some pics. of the drive home today. This is on J25 between Hollister and Hwy. 5. Unfortunately its kinda bumpy and rough in spots, so I can't recommend it. But it does have some very nice twistys, would be great if the whole road was smooth. Also no cell coverage back there, very remote. Anyways, I hope I get the pics in here right.
Looks familiar. I used to climb out at the Pinnacles and drove those roads a lot.

Cool deal. I just left a voicemail & sent an e-mail to Webb Motorsports asking for 2 more bottles of Motul. Randy W's website only shows 2 bottles in-stock, so hopefully that's true. As soon as I hear back, I'll let you know about having more fluid. Do we need to re-bleed?

I'd like to run a little more fluid through to finish flushing the last of the old out. It's pretty clean now, but I wasn't happy that there was still a little blue tint left on one of the rear calipers.

Do a Google search for Motul. It's readily available (just not locally here, it seems.)
You will never be able to get it all out of there. The shape of the calipers and the method of draining the fluid makes complete flushing difficult.

Forgot to tell you all. Got pulled over by a sheriff near San Juan Batista saturday morning for...........................................no front license plate. Dude must have been bored. He also mentioned my clear tail light assemblies, he didn't give me a fixit ticket though .

I've gotten pulled over three times for having the clear tail light assemblies. The way you get around this is red reflective tape somewhere on the back of your car (or setup like Msfitoy). Nobody's ever said anything about my old Euro plate or lack of plate entirely. Did he have any kudos to give you on your car?
