When I use a dremel with cut off wheels they are so brittle that they just break from heat build up. The carbide bit is a nice one to use for different cutting and drilling. But pneumatic sheers are perfect for making nice clean cuts in sheet metal. I have a plasma cutter at the lighting factory. It has this cool attachment for cutting up to 12 inch circles. I need to practice turning on the lathe because i think i could turn some bad *** parts if i practice some.

What kind of work do you do? Oh, Steve's still voting for you to change your screename to "Kansas City Kid". I think it has a certain ring to it.
No, no...."Kansas City Kid". Trust me, it sounds better. Kinda has a <cue tumbleweed/saloon music> gunslinger ring to it. High-performance Cooper .... gunslinger....sounds good.
Battery box is out and the new floorboard is in place. I also have the mounting brackets for the battery in place. The next step is a battery lead connector conversion and cover for the entire new floor.
You would think by buying a car from East Bay, they would keep thier customers informed of events, moving, etc.
This notice came directly from MINIusa.
I think you need to register in the owners lounge and make sure they have all the current info. I get mail from MINI about once a month.
Do you guys have or heard of this problem. My mini takes awhile to start when warm and when totally cold it starts right up? I might try putting some fuel system treatment in but I was going to ask you guys if you knew of anything that would be causing it other then dirty injectors.
OK, the battery strap is done. That thing is in tight.. Next i'm going to make a cover out of 1/8" lexan covered with carpeting to match the rest of my car. Should make for a strong and nice looking cover.
I will get a pic for you tonight, Steve. I also need to wait for the battery lead conveter being overnighted from Helix.... That was an expensive oversight.

Does it just have to crank a few turns more when warm? Also, it seems that more engine mods can effect the warm start, I don't know why.
I was just looking at some cars that are all black and painted flat or satin black. I wonder how good a Mini would look "Murdered Out". I was looking on ioportracing.com and they have Street/Race Roll Bars for $440 shipped and I am thinking about getting one as my december purchase
