Wow, why is JCW crap?

I'm really find this interesting. I guess mostly because of the post where the NAMer said everything JCW is crap. But yet they don't give a reason why. Not meaning to start anything with the website but threads like the one in the link are highly negative and attacks like this got our good friend Diablito kicked off.

I'm confused at why everyone thinks that JCW is crap. I bet Joe's Garage has all sorts of QC problems, but one bad JCW strut brace means everything they make is crap. I'd really like see the faces of all those people that put aftermarket crap on their cars only to have the car get screwed up and them be screwed out of a warranty. The people that say this say that you get more bang for your buck at other places, but seriously if you want a four-huundred horsepower car you should be looking at something besides a MINI. SERIOUSLY.

So, why is the JCW crap?
Any reasons besides "Well they're expensive."

Really why is my suspension crap?
Why are my brakes crap?
You've already said why my strut brace is crap, because one looked really bad.
What's worse is you even have a vendor second guessing the crap he's
I would like answers. Please I'm not trying to be a d*** but if you are the worlds judge on aftermarket parts why do you even worry about a strut brace to begin with? It's pointless, and everyone knows that.

So really I would love to know what makes JCW parts nothing but a pile of horsecrap!

Thanks

Mikey

WOW I used the word crap 11 times in one crappy post!
Make that 12!

Me too. And, ironically, all that crap on my engine seems to make my car go bloody fast.

Most modded cars have their "warranty" too, to some extent. I have had lots of problems, and the dealer certainly didnt care about my mods...

In all honesty they arent bad....they arent something amazing to scream and holler about.

Just something:

I'm am not nor mean to bash any aftermarket accessory in this thread, if you view my sig you would know that I am anything but anti-nonJCW, in fact I plan on putting more non-JCW parts on my car that aren't listed, after the Kit is put on in Jan. I just don't have the space to list them!

The guy stated his opinion. He's entitled to it. If you're happy with your JCW bits it shouldn't matter.

I've seen the strut bar and brake kit on my neigbor's MCSC and while I don't think they're crap, I think they are underwhelming.

Refined - maybe, pedigreed - probably, underwhelming - definately.

And after gramps checks the market value on his 50-year-old fully-documented JCW S he will be able to die happy.

I don't have a problem with that, in fact I don't have a problem at all! I'm just curious why he feels this way. Why are they bad in his opinion?
