I posted this in the other thread but this thread is longer so I figured i'd put it in here as well.
I have a British Racing Green Cooper S with a black top. Apparently insects like it. I came out to my car at work one morning to see a large pale green bug perched on the back window. Drove from one work building to another, the bug stayed with me. Went home after work and told the wife about the bug. She looked it up and discovered it was a katydid.
Woke up that evening to go to work. Went out to the car and saw that the katydid had rode home with me, as she was now sitting on my driver's side window. I drove the 12 or so miles to work while the katydid tucked up under the rear spoiler to avoid the wind. I could see her head poking out in my rear view. Drove to work, parked and took pictures. Katy finally got off my car when I parked in the other parking lot where she had originally jumped on.
So, if you haven't figured it out by now, my Mini's name is Katy. I have pics in my gallery if you are interested in seeing them.

Mine is HrtofAg (Heart of Silver) because the blue bonnet has silver stripes in the middle of it. I toyed with Heart of Gold (Hitchhikers Guide) but the infinite improbability drive in mine is more nearly normal. HrtofAg is really as much as I can claim.
I have a habit of naming my cars after characters from my favorite TV shows (my last car, a Scion tC, was named Helo, from Battlestar Galactica - it was navy blue, and Helo was always in his navy blue dress uniform, it seemed to fit)
So when it came time to order and name the MINI, I knew I wanted something "British-y", and another favorite show is Torchwood (a BBC show none the less), and I liked the character Ianto, pronounced Yanto (Welsh for John) plus I like names that sound different than they're spelled (it almost was Rhys, like Reese) - but I decided on Ianto, and now having him for 4 months, it most certainly fits!

The name "babycakes" just popped into my head. My husband liked the name "stella"
. His MCS is a champagne color and I always liked the name "bubbles" for his car.

"meatbun" is a popular bread (stuffed with meat) snack in Asia. I love them. and 66 is my birth year.
I just got my MINI 9 days ago and decided on FEZZIK. Fezzik was the giant in the Princess Bride - just a teensy bit of irony in that name.
The Sebring I just got rid of didn't have a name other than "piece of crap".
1994 Z28 Camaro 6-speed was Brutus because it was all muscle and no finnesse.
1990 Grand Am 5-speed was Jean Claude. Jean-Claude Grand Am/Van Damme. I know, I know. But he was kind of cool at the time.

Those are creative names msmarvel. All of the names fit and describe your cars very well! Jean Claude Grand Am got me.
Very creative

My Mini's name is "Fuzzy Logic"
1. I tote around my family in a mini. (Not exactly a familymobile)
2. Black/ white color.
3. I tend to get told all the time how "Black and white" I am.
4. From the ones who know me it was not my most "logical" choice.
Oh well, I will never turn back now, I love my Mini way too much.
