Thank you!!
Greg,
We have (Not) posted much at all on this INTERNET Site.
So just as a Heads-Up a few (Facts) on me.
I worked for Dealers and reported to the Parts & Service Directors.
That was for like 16-18 years.
I'm (Thank Goodness) now "Retired".
With me saying the above I don't post crazy things on INTERNET Sites.
When I post and answer a question it is (Factual) based on input from the proper source.
Here is what I just found out from Mini of Nashville.
(1) Parts for the DRL #63122338554 is (Retail) $504.10.
They will be available in the next two (2) weeks or so for the USA.
(2) The (Approximate) Labor cost of $110.00 per hour based on (Condition) of vehicle being installed on.
Labor $330.00 Dollars.
(3) The total (Out-the-Door) based on {Retail Cost Figures) is $899.07.
I will get a Cell Call as soon as the Computer actually says they are at the Distribution Center.
My Cost will not be as I'm sure you already know is not (Retail).
I worked at another Dealer with the fellow that is over all of the Mini of Nashville Dealership.
At least this information should give NAM Members some actual facts on Retail Cost and hopefully availability.
Note*
There are some sets right now available in Europe but not here in the USA.

I will order today for $450 shipped to AZ. I will then pay $135 for install. I intend to post pics of install. That's $585 total.
Makes perfect sense .........
And Awesome pricing
Thank you so much for your insight!! I appreciate you! I'm known for getting the best deals. It's all about research. I just want to find the best deals and help others to do the same.

We are on the same page on (Pricing) and a (Good-Deal).
I can do it here locally because I have the (Contacts).
The official install time estimate from Mini is 1.5 hours - but there are plenty of dealers who seem to spend a lot more than that to do it the first time.
On the other hand, you would think they might know how to remove and replace a R56 bumper cover, which is what I spent most of my time trying to do when I installed these myself.

The parts person I talked with went and ask the question to someone else and that is what he was told.
In my situation the prices do-not really mean a lot so I don't need to ask.
I just made the call per a request from the other NAM Member.
Then posted what I was told.
After working for Dealers for like 16 Plus years price quotes are just that, price quotes.

UPDATE: Just received confirmation that they have shipped via DHL Air 2-4 day. Also just checked my credit card activity and confirmed $452.00 USD total including shipping. I'm starting to get excited, I think this will be a great unique mod!

Man you have it all going on Bro.
I hope you do some exact install pictures so we can see & read what takes place with the install.
Especially the (Time) it takes !!!
Here's a great install guide:

I thought this was interesting from that installer.
This is not as straight forward as the 1.5 hrs that MINI quote for fitting,
Not sure I want all that removed and reinstalled on mine.
Might decide to leave well enough alone.
Have to keep in mind this is not (My MCS) it is my wife's.
Wife (Cathy's Machine:
Then mine the "tigermachine".
Greg ...

In my case I will have to give this additional consideration I'm thinking.

Hello all,
I have been following this thread for a while and am eagerly waiting for these to come into the US. Now I wanted to touch on BMW/MINI's way of giving an approximate installation time for accessories and retrofit kits such as these. It was brought to my attention one day by an experienced parts counter personnel and can affirm that what I was told is pretty much true from my own experience. The approximate installation time DOES NOT include the time it takes for removal of other parts or trim pieces that need to be removed to do the install. In this case, that would be the front bumper as being one of them. Other cases in point is when I installed in my Countryman S, MINI's official Auto Dim Mirror Retrofit Kit or MINI's Portable Navigation, the installation time did not include the removal and putting back of various dash pieces. If you notice on BMW/MINI's installation and retrofit instructions, they usually have a section in the beginning that lists parts that need to be removed before installing the said retrofit or accessory. That section is what I'm referring to that is not included in the approximate installation time. That is why a lot of these instructions seem to be off by a lot when it comes down to approximate installation time. A usual safe bet is to double or triple the time depending on how many pieces need to be removed prior to the installation. I hope this clarifies some things for people. In the mean time, I can't wait to install my own set. Maybe I will kill 2 birds with one stone and replace my stock S lip with the JCW lip when I install these. Should be fun nonetheless.
Happy Motoring!

I bought a set from the UK and installed them a month ago. The install wasn't that difficult but as has been described in previous posts does not take only 1.5 hours. The hardest part was working in the driver's side foot well, being flexible helps
Here's a shot of how they look during the day.
