With coding they do.

Yes with the MINI LED halo style driving lights. Using NCS Expert change the following in the FRM:

FL_UND_NSW_NICHT_GLEICHZ
nicht_aktiv
Enables fronts fog lights and high beams at the same time

Sweet! I already have the coding in place for flash to pass with fogs on and high beams with fogs on.

I ordered a set from UK for 400 cad shipped and import prepaid. That's 300 USD. Woot woot.

out of curiousity, has anyone else noticed the MINI DRL kit is slightly different than the new OEM LED fog option on the 15 lci countryman?

yea the factory ones installed are different than the retrofit kit. The retrofit kit is brighter on the halo and a tad more blue/purple compared to the factory ones.

Hello,

I have a R56 lci 2012 Cooper S, i want to fit these retrofit DRL but i don't have Auto Lights feature in my car. Can i still do it?
I have the 520 foglight option in my car though.
Help would be great :-)

As long as you have the foglights that's enough. You have to disable daytime running lights in the car menu though, if the headlights are on with the standard wiring you just get the upper third of the DRL ring.

It's not possible with this kit unfortunately. With the way it's wired into the car, the moment the lights are on it changes the rings to parking lights

With everything setup, the DRL are on during the day (xenon are off), but all other exterior lights are off. In the past, before I removed/coded-out the Canadian region setting, the Xenon would be on for DRL along with my corner marker lights.

(I have bright LED lights in the fenders and they are visible during the daytime. I also like having the rear tailing LEDs lit during the day.)
