Look good. Can you take a photo from a distance with the fogs on only & DRL on only? Can the bulb for the DRL be easily swapped?

Lastly, where did you order these!! 0

Wow, they look really good. Loos like the DRL bulb temperature more closely matches that of the xenons too.

So, where can we buy in the U.S., as that is not a MINI USA part number?

Dont think they have been federalised for the US yet

Or that MINI USA has placed an order for them for the dealerships

As the UK officially took delivery of 400 of them then another major dealership stockage in July

Mini/BMW does a great job managing thier suppliers and parts launches. They phase the launches as the suppliers ramp capability. With a global car they do this by launching in market areas. It also provides more data on how much stock will be required to move to larger area. EU response is X, based on history we will need that times a factor to launch in North America. Also DOT cert is a painful and slow process.

I would be interested even at 564 a pop, this put the Mini on par with the other 2013 cars out there. The Audi has it, the VW has it, why not the Mini.

it seems you can order it here. about $400. will there be extra programming and wires in order for them to work? or is it just plug and play? i imagine the US will get these DRL soon as a retrofit... hopefully

Did you have to reprogram the car at the dealer or was it plug and play? What happens to the fog lights?

I am on their ordering page, should I confirm the order or wait for the UK lad to let us know if it needs reprogramming and what happens to the fog lights.

It was mentioned that they are plug and play already. No coding required. Supposedly the fog lights work as normal too.

Is that 400 dollars shipped? As the box is quite big

I can get the DRLs at the price of £250 and all i am work on is getting the price down the shipping side

No coding is need however you will need to wire everything up to the control which comes in the kit

I believe everything you need comes in the box

The existing fog lights come out and the DRLs units go in

Before u say it the Middle bit of the DRLs is the fog light
