I hate the amount of precipitation that falls into the cabin when the window or the door is opened. Highly Annoying. What bugs you the most?

 

...Gotta be the runflats. Thankfully, it's easily "corrected".

 

Only had mine for a day. So far the thing I hate most is the sunroof. Too much wind noise when the thing is closed up tight. Somewhere around the back sun roof it is rattling like hell too.

One trip after I wash it the wheels already look like crap. I've never had a car that had this big of a problem with brake dust.

While its not my most hated feature -- that goes to the run-flats -- I do not like anything about the sunroof.

I will buy another Mini someday. I will never buy another sunroof.

 

I hate the seatbelts. They always get stuck inbetween the seat and the door and then I have to crack open the door in order to get the seatbelt on.

I also would not get the sunroof again. Too many squeaks and rattles and it gets sooo hot inside the car in the summer.

Don't get me wrong, I would buy another MINI in a heartbeat!!!!

 

We may not like the sound of the engine either --but we don't know. Between the rattles and the run-flats, we've never heard it.

 

I too hate the brake dust, water entering an open window, and that I didn't own one until Nov 09.

I've heard and read may owners complaints about sunroofs. I love mine and wouldn't buy one without it, unless I get a vert

 

1. Having to hold the toggle for the windows to go up. (I know I can buy an "auto-up" but this should of been factory from mini)

2. No armrest on mine, and even with the factory armrest, they are stupid.

3. Cup holders, the two front are completly useless.

 

Not that is bothers me, but what I would change would be make the back windows vent a bit like a mini van. That way one could get a great flow of air without much effort (just crack the front and back windows.)

I personally don't like or use sunroofs, plus they weigh and cost much more than my dream solution would.

 

I haven't had any of the described problems, except brake dust, but I don't see that as a problem, just a fact. The brake dust cleans up easily anyway.

I don't understand why people hate the run flats, they ride and grip just fine, no different than any other car I've owned.

So, there's nothing I hate about my MINI.

I hate the stupid turn signals on the R55.
Hate having to hold the button to fully open or close the sunroof - big step back from the R53.
Hate not having temperature and oil pressure gauges.
Love the sunroof - ours is quieter than the one in the R53.
Love the engine and gas mileage.

squeaky armrest that slides back all the time

 

1.) having to crane my neck at traffic lights to see if its red or green
2.) sliding armrest
3.) crappy base stereo
4.) turn signal stalk (can't always find the detent of the 3 flash or continuous) when I'm busy changing lanes and it either doesnt blink enough or keeps blinking.
5.) trunk grip release button has a mind of its own
6.) toggle switch for central locking - locks/unlocks in either direction.

I still love my Mini after all that.

Brake dust, engine noises(rattles), stupid location of ps fan, clutch noise, problems never seem to stop coming even though car only has 59000 miles on it.
Would buy another one in a heartbeat though.
