Yea....kind of a stupid design....and fortunately, it's a black car, so after clean up, if there is any dis-colorization, a little bit of black paint should cover it up

Changed my lug nuts from Neo Chrome to Blue and installed front mud flaps along with a rear bumper sill protector.

Also had to reconnect my Forge Intake Pipe, darn thing disconnected and I started throwing engine codes.

Not sure why MINI was so stingy with the paint, but under the hood and hatch isn't clear-coated so you'll probably end up with a primer spot on the rail. Maybe they wanted to be like the Silver Arrows and lighten the car.

Whalen Polished Stainless JCW ****

Installed a gorgeous piece of machinery (Whalen Shift Machine Polished Stainless Steel Shift **** with polished collar/shaft). Easy enough install, this guy put up with my many renditions to arrive at this beauty. I love it.

I changed out my 5 year old halogen headlights and fog lights to the Silverstar zXe lamps. They are a huge improvement of the stock lamps. I got a message that my driver side break light was out so I changed all of my rear lamps to the Silverstar 7056 bulbs. I figured I would do them all at the same time.

Was all set to get the new Supra but after dealers backing out of MSRP sales for crazy markups, decided to wait it out and use my down payment money on the MINI.

Installed a GFB SV+ yesterday and installed my Cravenspeed short shifter today. Got some Ohlins on order right now as well, so those will be going on in a week or two as well.

I never lost my love for this car but this definitely is reinvigorating it.

Yeah, I can see that. They are asking crazy stupid money right now for that car. Even the Honda CTR gets a little crazy with money.

Any tips on not scratching your brand new lug nuts?

No air tools, do it by hand.

Does it throw any errors and did you have to do any coding when you switched to the Black LED Side scuttles?

No error codes and no coding but I have noticed today that the turn signal is blinking twice as fast. I have a contacted Outmotoring to see if this is normal or do I have to do some coding, but it does work.
Even the wife likes them better than the factory ones.

Thank you, Outmotoring recommended something exactly like those, just ordered them.

Replaced my cabin air filter.
Also upgraded from oem intake filter to a K&N filter.
The sticker makes it official.

I just finished corresponding with the folks at Bimmercode about the fast blink problem. If you have Bimmercode you might try what he suggested . If it works, you won't have to add any hardware.resisters.This should eliminate the bulb check for the scuttle lights. Let me know what happens so I can let him know and add it ti FAQ.

You may try the following:

This would be in the BDC

FRA_Z_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv
FRA_Z_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv
FRA_Z_L_IS_LED -> aktiv

FRA_Z_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv
FRA_Z_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv
FRA_Z_R_IS_LED -> aktiv

These are for the „FahrtRichtungsAnzeiger Zentral“ and this is something like „Center turn indicators“ in english.

Sorry guys, Bimmercode didn't work, so the adapters should be here in the next day or so, I'll chime back in to let you know if that fixes it.
