Sorry guys, Bimmercode didn't work, so the adapters should be here in the next day or so, I'll chime back in to let you know if that fixes it.
Heard from bluonyx last night that it starts to hyper flash after about 5 normal flashes.
Contacted Bimmercode and heard back at ~0300 this morning some additional coding to try. This is in addition to the earlier string of code.

When I was a youngster I'd have tackled this project and probably spend 2 hours doing it. Now that I am too old to be doing these things it took me 1 and 1/2 hours which included fixing something that I broke (lol). Stereo installer failed to install bass boost level control when putting in sub woofer because he had spent too much time already on the install, not lol'ing on that. I left the annoying blue laser beam pilot light behind the plastic.
I spent a little time with BimmerCode today. Disabled ASD, configured dogs to stay on with high beam, and eliminated the legal splash screen at startup. Also configured mirrors to fold in at lock. My car was already configured for windows down and up with remote.

So update! Coding didn't work for my JCW but these little adapters off Amazon did. I was beyond happy for 30 whole minutes till a semi kicked up a rock going the opposite direction and cracked my windshield. Right behind the mirror, on top of the camera, so no repair fill, insurance said I have to replace the whole windshield. Now I have to wait a week for an OEM one to get shipped to Safelite. Bummer

Sorry to hear about your windshield ding. I just ordered a set of the LED side markers. When I get around to installing them I plan to do some more fiddling with the coding. I also ordered a set of the adaptors, just in case.
Orderd a ATI dual pod mount for my R50. Plus oil pressure an engine temp gauges. I just do not trust the mini dumb gauges. Rather see what's up before it's to late.

Please post if you are successful in coding the LED side markers.

I got around to installing my Dinan Elite today, and all I can said WOW! What a difference! I picked it up yesterday from the dealership after being ceramic coated.
Oh, I also F11 topcoated it this morning. That is one easy product to use.
Monday, it goes into the shop for ceramic window tint. It should look good on black, and keep the heat out.
Replaced the manual transmission fluid today and dumped a bunch of used motor oil and transmission oil into the recycling tank at Advanced Auto.
(37K miles - original fluid had lost quite a bit of viscosity per Blackstone oil analysis).
Used BMW MTF-LT-4 75W90 - same as the original fill. Should be good for another 40-50K.

Do the drain and fill plugs on the manual transmission have washers? RealOEM doesn't show them (whereas it does for the automatic transmission drain plug).
Received mount. Waiting on gauges. Should be here this week. But I have to wait a couple weeks before I can install. Had shoulder surgery 3 weeks ago. So I'm down for the count.
Are the lights just much lower in down here in south texas? I don't understand why this light in site thing is needed.
If I'm first at the light I just stop where I can see it.
I didn't have the LIS on my '07 MCS. Didn't realize what I had been missing until I installed one on my F56. At 6'4"tall I spent a lot of time with my upper body/neck bent an uncomfortable angle to see the lights. Now I can sit upright and look straight ahead and see when the lights change. Granted, when the light is mounted far enough away from where you stop the LIS is not needed, But, that situation is not the norm around home. In most locations, if I stopped far enough back to not need the LIS I wouldn't even trip the light. Geographical location does play a part, but, in my 55+ years of driving, I've driven all over the country and sooner or later you will be glad you made the small investment for this option. YMMV

No washers. Just the black plugs with
8 mm Allen hex holes. They fit snugly
without leaking.
I did replace the drain plug with a
Dimple magnetic one. That has a washer.
Did 2019 MITM this past weekend and won a trophy for "Most Interesting Owner Build" with my navigator. It was held in Salida, CO. Good people (and MINIs) there and a great club (5280) sponsoring the event. The new Eventuri intake worked great and got great mileage up and back in the mountains. The trophies were unique and made by a club member using MINI parts. Really good time.

I know in Idaho the stop lights were placed fully across the intersection from the stop line for the cars they are aimed at. Here in the NE the stop lights tend to hang on wires that run diagonally across the intersections, which places the stoplight in the middle of the intersection and closer to the cars. Also, a lot of the roads around here tend to be narrower than what I saw in Idaho, which also puts the cars closer to the lights. These lights are really hard to see in a MINI, at least around here. And, it isn’t always possible to stop early if you are close to the light when it changes. Of course, the alternate solution to that is run the light which seem to be the new driving rule around here...

Interesting. Never had any issue in MINIs or any other vehicle but i'm not 6'4, either.
Maybe intersections are one thing Houston does right with the lights being mounted on the opposite side.
