Had to have the oil pan gasket replaced so I asked to have the 17% pulley done at the same time. Also got some new brake juice.

Had the two plastic bushings installed in the front (control arms).
Now...when I turn to the right...on the throttle, the car doesn't feel like it wants to climb a tree..! Nice and smooth now.

Nice. I remember when I replaced mine, huge difference. Sloppiness was gone along with the occasional knock.

Today I am scratching my he'd about relocating the sport and DTS traction Button's, since installing the Coolerworks took away the cigaret lighter and the Button's spot, for now I have the lighter in the compartment just hanging and the sport in one of the cup holders. I know that I have to extend the wire's to get them in a alternative location but where???

You can order one of these and put them in the cupholder or fabricate your own trim plate.

Today I flushed the brake fluid. Car is 5 YO & has 50 K miles. Old fluid was as clear as new stuff, so maybe waste of time. But now that box is checked.

One cool thing I noticed is the stainless steel fuel tank support straps. Very cool, considering the ones on my Tundra are super rusty!

Just ordered a new set of R90 wheels. Wife’s not liking the ride with the 17’s.

Hello Mario!

I finally met the man who helped me make my R56 so fun! Mario was on his way to Seattle and stopped in NW Portland for lunch.
We washed his road weary Countryman, and did some Carly programming to my car.

putting on the tail hook!

I put the tail hook onto Desire to ready for a day of fun and excitement. I also gave Mini a quick physical to make sure it is ready for some physical exertion.

Thanks. Was melting silver/white. Wrapped with Avery metallic black-wished it had silver metallic rather than brass tone.

Drove him to work today. Always fun to zip around.

I think I may have a target to pursue with the driver side seat replacement. Side bolster (cloth) has torn on mine. Mini was a ridiculous amount for new fabric so its almost easier to just replace the seat all together.

Took it on its first real mountain test up over the continental divide to Vail and back for the Vail Farmer's Market. Donatello didn't even break a sweat handling the grades on I-70. Big change from the 15 year old Civic LX we've been driving!

Removed the rally stripes from the bonnet using my wife’s steam cleaner. Came off fairly easy and I’m liking the cleaner look.

Got hit in the driver's side door right under the mirror in the parking lot, saw it as I approached my car, whom ever was backing out of there spot made to sharp of a turn.

Ouch! Sorry too hear that. Hope it’s an easy fix.
