Ha ha! Even though it's above 32 today and sunny, more sleet, ice and snow coming for the weekend, so the salt and crap is going to have to build up for a few more days. Makes me sad! I might be moving to Waco. Much nicer to keep a car clean there! Baylor Univ, please call!

Installed JB+ which really woke it up! Think the torque arm bushing is next.

Had him towed to the dealership. Heater stopped working last night and car overheated on my way to work this morning. Coolant pump cracked at 26k miles

Scheduled a full service today for next week. Whatever it needs will be done! Of course, I trust my mechanic! DSA Performance, Kyle Gannon rules the Nebraska lands around here! He's honest and doesn't take you to town on this and that. He races German cars and knows excactly what to do to the MINI. I trust him fully. Nice to finally have a guy here in town I can trust. I used Ryk Sorensen in Edmonds WA for over 20 years before I moved. It was sad to say goodbye to him. He always treated me great and we became great friends! I'm hoping for the same with Kyle.

Just uploaded my Battle/DNA tune. Different car. Runs smoother when at idle. The non-linear map is a baseball slap to the face. Tomorrow I'll try the linear map and see how I fancy that!

New rear hatch (boot) struts....about 3 minutes each...about $40 for the pair from rockauto.com..added a dab of grease to the ***** when I installed them...then lubed the rear hinges.....guess I got my $$ out of the oem ones..almost 10 years!! Who says mini can't build a good car!! Heck if this winter wasn't so cold, bet I could have waited till next fall!!
New rear wiper (oem)..in a "Valeo"... box $10 amazon.
PIAA front wiper refils ...super silicone... Best wipers ever on a MINI....I got 3 YEARS of use from the first set...bought them from outmotoring...blades were worn..finely, but the wiper portion still looks new...so got rrefills for them on amazon $12 each....
Simple basic mantaince.... But keeps everything like new!

Nice shoes, DavisFlyer. After $15k+, I just bought Prosport gauges (boost/oil press/H2O temp) and Powerflex rear trailing arm bushings. Installing next week.

The position of it changed after I added a header to it. The exhaust wasn't designed for the convertible and so I had spacer made to get it to fit. Now it's hitting the cross braces in back and has split the pipe. Now I'm just waiting for the supplier to get the updated exhaust in. Scorpion has redesigned it to fit the convertible
