Replaced the Ireland Engineering Fixed Camber Plates with new ones.
Installed a Mason Engineering Front Under Strut Bar.

http://www.masonengineering.net/Subp...iCooperR53.htm

Lubed the Powerflex Rear Control Arm Bushings.
Figured out how to access the "Hidden OBD Menu" to see actual coolant temp.
Watched the crack in the windshield grow another inch!

Did the 1st oil and filter change at 1200ml with OEM oil and filter, done it carefully to not spill any oil, but that oil filter is really in the wrong spot

Put a rag underneath the filter housing to catch any spillage. But if you just loosen the filter cap enough to let air in (just past the o-ring) and let it sit for a few minutes, you should have almost no oil spill out.

Actually I did think about that and put some rag under it but did wait about one minute before take it out and still spilled a little on the rag and some hoses which I took care of them. Before I get started I was kind of nervous about braking any plastic stuff or messing the filter housing but everything turned out just fine, I probably will do this every 5K from now

2 and ahalf hours washing her today. tried taking all the scratches out then covered her in liquid glass wax, waited a while and took it off. it looked spectacular! fresh off the showroom floor looking. not bad for an 8 year old car.

Installed WMW's Performance Diverter Valve and it works like a charm. No more delay when backing down in 1st and 2nd. The car slows down RIGHT NOW, not 2-3 seconds later. BTW, don't call it a BOV cause it's something rather different!

Threw on a set of 215/45-17 Conti DWS tires. Then I went to work and spent the day wishing I could go out and break them in.

Removed a ton of subtle tarnishing on the aluminum trim. Then it rained.

Removed the Powerflex Rear Control Arm Bushings. I tried all kinds of different stuff to lube them to no avail. Could not get them to stop squeaking. Oh Well.....
Applied Laminex yellow film to the foglights.

Nothing.

If this is the antenna ball, imagine what the rest of the car looks like.

Driving the truck today.

Who steals a side scuttle?!?!?!?!?!

I didn't do anything to my MINI today except enjoy the drive to work. And in 1.5 hours, I am going to enjoy the drive home.

LED Lights

I had prevously done the "diode" mod to my tailights so the non-functional upper lights illuminate along with the brake lights. Great mod, but I was worried about the added amperage on the system after reading some problem posts on this mod, so I replaced the upper 1156 bulbs with 1156 replacement 68 LED (SMD) bulbs. Nice and bright with virtually no additional draw on the system.

Put on a Craven shift well cover. As usual with Craven's goodies, everything works/fits perfect!
