What did you do to your mini today?
Thanks guys!!!
I called an aftermarket upholstery shop in and the owner also has a MINI. Once I explained what was that I wanted to do he was amazed and the next day we stripped those parts.
After one day he had them wrapped in alcantara. The guys did a great job and it looks like factory upholstery. He said it was difficult but they managed to do it properly.
Well, not today but last weekend. Took my MINI and buddies at West Coast MINI on a 1200mi. run. San Diego to Monterrey and back. Were forced to take the Coastal Range roads and Wonderful One the whole way, LOL.

got little presents for my MINI and detailed her again
I got a checkerboard rearview mirror cover, checkerboard valve stem caps, a checkerboard tag frame, and a collection of antenna ***** for different times of the year. I put the Halloween skull on and it looks great! I wash her most weekends, waxed the hood again with some Zaino, and detailed the interior with 303 protectant. Glossy but not too shiny.
My neighbors think I'm a little OCD with the car washing. . .

Took a picture of him with some leaves that are losing their chlorophyll...

Would you know what wheels are on the blue MCS, second from the right? They look good from here.
You would ask a question about our two newest member's MINI, LoL. Their first club run no less. I'm guessing, but I think the wheels are either Enkei or Koenig. BTW, that slouched down grey MINI along side it is all mine. Here's more pics.

Did this yesterday but I'm just getting online now. Changed the oil and filter, rotated the tires. No matter how hard I try I always get some oil on my garage floor
. Some splatter from oil going into the drain pan and this time some flowed along the oil pan and dripped outside of the pan because I had the car jacked while rotating the tire. I'm going to buy a oil pump and suck to oil out thru the dip stick tube before I do my next change.

New Speakers
Installed new rear speakers in my '02 MCS. Replaced the factory 6x9's with JVC 4-Way CoAxial speakers. Improvement over the stock speakers but not as much as I hoped. Did see a good improvement in bass response. Front speaker replacement will be next.
Replaced the Radiator Fan (no low speed syndrome). Thanks for the tips, Eric!
Changed oil and filter.
Replaced defective front brake pad wear sensor.
Discovered crack in my already sand-blasted windshield.
Oh...and turned over 210,000 K miles!

I did the FES auto anti-glare gauge lenses and fixed the orange ring around the cigarette lighter. I now have a rattle from having to take the dash apart and now I got figure out where it is coming from so I can fix it.
Well yesterday, I removed head and tail light rings, gas cap, grill surrounds and the bonnent scoop. Cleaned them up, and plasti dipped with five or six coats. Then threw 'en back on. With the mellow yellow black combo already I must admit it turned out amazing.
Finished up my Craven speed boost and oil temp gauge install (almost finished as I have yet to hook up the sending unit for the oil temp) but all wired up though. Lights all work and boost is reading perfect. I love the way the marshal gauges match the stock gauge!!

Replaced the radiator fan housing, and since I had to undo the top radiator hose, I replaced that and its clips as well.
Took a few hours as had to takethe front bumper skin and bumper off and put it in service mode to get to the fan.
In a few weeks it'll be due for an oil and filter change, and swapping to winter wheels and tires.

Anyway, today my wife and I went for a drive up to Healdsburg, stopped by Bear Republic and bought a growler of their Ryevalry Belgian / American style Ale. Goooood stuff! Then it was back home for a wash and a long overdue wax.

Today I did my first oil change (1970 mi) using Mini 5w-30 and ordered an M7 Aerogel Turbo Heatshield from WMW.
Albie, great pic!
JimZ, I haven't seen you since some MINI Maverick runs some years back. Good to see that car is still crankin!
Today, I... drove my new Cooper S Clubman for the first time, which was nice.
