Dropped the subframe and replaced the control arm and sway bar bushings with powerflex. I also replaced the inner and outer ball joints along the way. Sooooo stoked.

Installed a V.2 Sprint Booster today. I've got an R53 with a pulley, CAI, and exhaust, and I've always been skeptical as to whether or not it would make that much of a difference.
Well, it does. It doesn't make my MINI faster, but way more responsive. It's as if my MINI is one step ahead of me when I push on the accelerator. I bought mine dirt cheap, from a friend who upgraded to a Sprintex SC, and all kinds of goodies including a tune, so he has no need for it anymore. I didn't want to spend $250+ for one, not knowing if there would be a difference, but now I know what I've been missing!! Highly Recommended!!

K, so it was two days ago, but I changed the oil and filter.

Smashed my finger between the breaker bar and the coolant tank when the filter housing finally let go. Subsequent one-finger salutes will display a purple fingernail until further notice....

Maybe next time I will smear a smidgen of anti-sieze lube on the filter housing's threads to prevent it from sticking (and subsequently letting go in a sudden and unpredictable manner).

C ya,
Dutch

Very cool. The mechanic I go to for repairs I'm not equipped to do myself has these and some with his shop's logo available, and mentioned that the setup fee for a custom logo is actually not *that* unreasonable.... Maybe when I have a few extra bux I'll get some custom ones done up....

I took mine on a nice cruise for the first time since December. I definitely missed being able to drive it while I was away at college. Feels great to be back in the driver's seat!

Took my MCS in for a check up since my maintenence warranty is about to expire and got new rear brakes and air filter replaced...
Everything's good and I swear that the new air cleaner put some pep back in her step.

You can easily get them on Amazon or may other parts stores online if you search.

Car Led Door Logo Badge Light Ghost Shadow Light Led Car Decoration for Porsche (Pair) : Amazon.com : Automotive Car Led Door Logo Badge Light Ghost Shadow Light Led Car Decoration for Porsche (Pair) : Amazon.com : Automotive

They are fairly easy to install but come with NO instructions so be careful. You can wire directly into the existing light wiring for the door BUT MEASURE CAREFULLY before you drill the hole for the unit as there is not much room for the device behind the door panel and you dont want extra holes in the bottom of your door.

Washed, clayed, waxed, blackou detail on trim and conditioned leather. Going in for first oil change this week. Only 2500 miles but hopefully that isn't a waste but the mini deserves it

Replaced the trim on the passenger side of my hood as the previous owner messed it up and the clips were all broken

Blacked out gas filler cover and headlight rings. Pulled off shifter boot cover to make sure that the GP2 shifter will NOT fit like sewell says it won't. :-( that thing is so cool, and cheap!

So, how was it? I have an Alta spring that I haven't installed and I'm wondering if there is a noticeable change.

I literally drove it for five minutes. I noticed a slight change shifting from 1st to 2nd. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Washed, waxed and cleaned the interior. Prima's bottles are kind of small for the price.

Drove from middle of FL to somewhere here in TN! All part of my 28 hour trek to the Black Hills of South Dakota!

I think all the extra bracing I've added has helped the car during this trip, cause I have several hundred extra lbs of my crap filling the car :P

Cleaned and conditioned the leather, protected the dash and door panels with some Mothers protectant, and vacuumed. Washed and clayed the exterior. Smooth as glass now. Just need to wax it.

FINALLY my suspension is dialed in after going to coilovers. With the new suspension, RSB and sticky tires, on ramps are fun again!
