I went a bit crazy on the mods. Ordered a set of OZ Wave 17" wheels yesterday and an Invidia N1 exhaust today. And a 17% pulley to replace my 15%.

I de-pollened the outside of it, cleaned the wheels. took the Dash-Pad off and put some garage door liner foam down to prevent rattles. cut my finger on some plastic trim.

Im wanting it to be june 1st so I can order my new invidia exhaust 15% pulley and belt

Drove it to the dealer because the power steering pump kept running after I shut off the engine, last night. Hoping MINI will pay for all or part, as it's one week to the day since I had a $3000 clutch job, and don't need another service hit so soon.

That's the reason lately I've looked into getting roof racks for my mini.

mounted my galaxy tab in my mini......

i wanted a place where it was accessible, not in my window, and out of the way....i also wanted it to be low profile to not attract attention.......and seeing as i never use my CD player, i figured ide put that space to good use.

i got one of those 'Sticky' phone/ gps mounts that you see on TV and ziptied it in place using adhesive backed anchors to hold the zip ties in place.....

then you just stick it on...

Replaced the front rotors and brake pads today on my Purple Haze 2005 MCS. It took about 2.5 hours on a beautiful Saturday afternoon here in South Florida.

Removed dealer license plate frame and decal. Installed chrome license plate frames and nut covers. Washed, dried and polished with Hydro and cleaned and treated vinyl with Nero. Looks real nice.

its called the GripGo...

http://www.getgripgo.com/

i picked it up at walmart for ~$10......the zipties and mounts cost ~$6...

if you can see in the photos, i did have to trim some corners off the mounts to get them to fit the contours.....i just clipped them with a wire cutter.

i just got it put together so i dont really have anything to report as to how well it works......but from fiddeling around with it for a few mins, the gripgo seems to hold the tablet with a fair amount of authority......but i can get you a better review after tomorrow.

Hit a beaver on my way home from a cruise. Cracked the front bumper... and coolant was all over the road. Radiator is dented in pretty good. Get to file a claim tomorrow on it. I'm thrilled.

Oh damn....that sucks! I forgot how big a beaver is. At least you're okay. My MINI is currently undergoing a makeover thanks to an a** who hit my car while flying across two lanes.

Again...glad you're okay.

I understand your hate for fat beavers...I once hit a fat beaver on my passenger side bumper...broke my fog light and blood scattered all over the bumper.

Sheldon hit a coyote last October at 70 mph at it was over $8500 damage. My insurance company was fantastic though. Hope your repairs go well.

Yeah I forgot as well until I went and saw what I hit. Felt like I hit an elephant or something. Went completely underneath the car and felt like it threw the back end of the car off the road. Pretty crazy. Hopefully everything works out ok and Ill have it back in little time. When you say makeover... are you getting all the OEM pieces back on or going with something else?

Yeah luckily there was no blood. I wish that was all that happened though was a broken fog light. Cant even drive the car now. Wont hold any kind of coolant at all.
