What did you do to your mini today?
Love that red! Did you just spray it like the chrome? I might be ordering from Amazon today...
Installed my Invidia Ti-Tip Cat Back Exhaust today with the help of fellow DCMM members:

Here's a link to the video, what's installed is Alta 15%, CravenSpeed CAI and Invidia:

Looks great! Love the red brake ducts - it looks great with the black and with that grill badge. I wonder why Mini doesn't offer them in colors like mirror caps.
...this summer!
This is a summary of what I did this summer...
Thule Criterium bike trays powder coated satin black.

Replaced Plastidip on headlight rings and washer covers with 3M 1080 glossy black vinyl.

Replaced carbon vinyl on scuttle housing with 3M glossy black vinyl. Never liked how large the side scuttles are and the glossy black helps them blend into the body better.

Full detailing with dual orbital including clay bar, Sonus Swirlbuster polish, Klasse AIO, and 2 coats of Klasse SG. (removed red pinstripes prior to polish - glad I did since the paint underneath was noticeably darker in certain lights despite waxing and garaging on a regular basis).

Wrapped door sill plates with 3M 1080 glossy black vinyl (as a result of dropping a screwdriver on one of them and denting it and having to putty-fill the dent).

And lastly, installed my long-sought-after Defenders of Speed CAI with aFe Dry filter...pshhh

Yeah, a custom tune down the road would be best, but hopefully the JCW tune in there now will be ok in the mean time. An occasional P1072 code (rich) is way less bad for things than the P0171 (lean) codes I was getting every time I found myself going up long hills. Plus, it is running *great* and getting better gas mileage than it did with the original injectors, probably due to the originals being more or less maxed out--either on the ECU's fuel map with max compensation, or on the injectors themselves. The ECU was most likely pulling timing to compensate for the not-quite-rich-enough mixture most of the time, and it would occasionally ping on tip-in.... No more with the "new" injectors!

Today, my friend Richard and I modded my wife's JCW Coupe. New Mach V Technics lowering springs, beefy Alta rear sway bar and new torque bushing inserts for the lower engine mount. Stance much improved. Handling very much improved. JCW handles like it's on rails now.
I want to do that! What did you use to paint them? I've seen some caliper paint kits, did you use one of those?
Did you remove the calipers to paint them, or tape off the lines and such?
Got pictures?

I plan on painting my calipers soon, just need to finalize the color. I'm thinking a baby/ice blue
Had calforhelp do some NCS programming on the MINI. now I can finally roll up the windows with the fob.
Looking great Nate! How much would you charge to wrap my HT/TL rings?

Tried experimenting with Plastidip on the bumper. It turned out pretty nice. What do you guys think? From the rear it looks like it has a lower stance now! I couldn't believe it.
