Crappy pic, but it was dark outside. Unfortunately, when I get to work it's dark....and when I leave it's dark. Will take better pics this weekend.

Looks fantastic! I can't wait to do mine tomorrow! I'm just waiting on my TL ones from Europe. Supposed to come in the next two days. Then I'm gonna do my belt line tomorrow too. How do you like the black out led markers?!

Thanks!

Yeah I'm still pretty jealous that you have them coming in from Europe...I have to wait until the end of February. Ugh

So far....I love them. No longer this blob of amber light flashing on the side of car. It definitely adds a more defined, sleek look. I'll try to snap a photo of that this weekend also.

For real!!! I nearly died when I dropped one of the stupid clip things for the grille. Then it rolled under the car. I was two seconds away from leaving it there and finding a replacement online.

TL = tail light

And I changed the housing (which could also be referred to as a scuttle, but I have no interchangeable inserts). The marker light, which was clear, is now black with 3 LED's.

Nah. I don't track my car I just like it to be unique looking and it's plenty quick enough for me as-is. My summer car is a full second faster to 60mph so this being a winter car it's already overkill.

What did I do with my MINI today? Not a damn thing. I left it in the garage and drove my old beater benz because there were reports of hail.

I had my pals Larry and Wolfgang install my new K&N Typhoon intake and MagnaFlow exhaust system today - anybody want the OEM stuff before they toss it?

Between you and Mexico, more or less, in Arizona, aka Mordor.

"Dutch" was my grandpa's WWII Marine Corps nickname (along with "Van", occasionally, taken from our family name, Van Zile). I borrowed it many years ago.

C ya,
Dutch

Wrestled with my v band clamp again for about 30 minutes till I finally gave in and took it someplace. Only to be told the clamp was too small and to get a different one. They did tighten it as much as they could I guess, but theres still a exhaust leak. 20 bux down the drain. Anyone know of a place to get a bigger clamp for the downpipe to midpipe?

Got a new set of Continental Extreme DW tires, Did a Sea Foam Intake Treatment, put some Sea Foam in the tank and some in the crankcase(will run it there for a couple hundred miles then do an oil change). Ordered a set of JCW springs and Installed the rears. Waiting for my Ireland Engineering Fixed Camber Plates to arrive from Dustin at AutoXcooper and will then install the fronts. Not too many R52's running JCW Springs so I am looking forward to sorting things out.

Sent from my iPad using NAMotoring

Threw on the carbon fiber boot handle. That was, by far, the EASIEST installation/swap EVER!

Took it in for an oil change, alignment check and ECU scan.
Found out I keep getting hidden fault codes for super knocking, possible due to low grade fuel, even though we get the highest grade possible, or maybe slight carbon build up.
Good part is, my tech knows how I like to drive and added just a smidge of neg camber to the front. Now, the damn thing is trying to throw me into the passenger seat when I take round-abouts lol GRIP FOR DAYS!!
