Sounds like we may need to meet up at the Peconic riverfront on Thursday nights.
Must have missed this before... I'm definitely hoping to make it out to those once it gets warmer I used to go to the Wading River ones many years ago when I lived in Rocky Point.

Thanks. I'm still po'd at her for driving away and playing dumb On the bright side, at the very least I'll get a freshly painted rear bumper out of the deal. The marker light and flare I will tell the shop (a friend's shop) not to order since I already have a GP one on order then that $$ can be used for something else perhaps (like painting my mirror caps hmmmm).
New summer rubber! 205/45ZR17 Conti ExtremeContact DW. I never realized how loud my winter tires were until I drove around on these babies today.. didn't hear a THING (except for turbo spool =P)
Dude - you actually plasti-dipped the whole car! Before opening the pics I thought it would look ridiculous. After opening - not so much! The stripes set it off, too. You are brave, my friend!
Your car has changed my opinion of the chocolate color. I now love it
Thanks.... not to sound full of myself, but ive been hearing that exact comment from most and have had people saying that the chocolatte color is great the main reason why I bought the MCS hardtop, for me being unique is the best part of owning a MINI I was in the market for a r55 but saw this one on the showroom floor and had to have it
Yes, yes she is. She has taken a shine to the car just as much as I have. I don't think she will get her own when the lease is up on her Accord, well maybe a Countryman. Apparently she has a few other tricks up her sleeve for me in the next few weeks. Plus, she puts up with my obsession hahahaha .
I think the new scuttles are a nice addition, they are subtle but quite different.
You Plasti-dipped the WHOLE CAR!?!? Wow - ambitious! Did you just peel the Plasti-dip off the taillights? If you're going for satin black, that actually looks rather good IMHO, better than I expected when I read the post. It'd be interested in hearing how well it holds up.

My neighbor has a chocolate R56 hatch with white wheels, white roof and brown leather... looks pretty smart (when it's clean)

Whoah super sized wheel gap there. I guess the suspension needs to settle a little. I get a shock every time I change the wheels and I have like an extra 1" wheel gap before I drive around a bit.
Did you get spray marks like one does with regular canned paint?
Do you know if this would work on wheel well trim (plastic). Not for
my Mini but for my pu truck. A couple have faded so bad the black is
actually gone?

That's definitely what I'm expecting! The winter tires were pretty much flush previously and I don't remember the gap being so large when I bought the car hah. But yea, it was definitely shocking to see all that space

Love my checkered scuttles!! My husband has been very supportive of my obsession as well! He installed my CAI and some vinyl bling. Goes on runs with me when he can and only occasionally does this ...
