I have a similar problem. (Mini Clubman F54 2016, NBT EVO with navigation but no HUD)
I have connected everything up, there's light in the correct side of the MOST cable, all is good.
When I do the coding, there's no KOMBI section.
As shown in videos and descriptions, I should go to the HU_NBT2, Detect CAF for SWE. But in my list, the newest F056-17-11-542.

If I select that and code it, my headunit says "NO SIGNAL", so I went back and coded the original FA back in, and all is back to normal.

Is it the "firmware" on my headunit that needs updating before I can continue? Any links to descriptions on how to do that, or should my Mini dealer do that. And what version to ask for?

Regards Thomas

Can you please help me. I am having the same problem with a cluster 62105B39D2. I just got it new from outmotoring. What do you mean by "input all values manually?" What values? Thanks in advance.

https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Sit...h/62105A82428/ is now 62105B3E9D2 just to let you know on which is the JCW GP3 version. They just update the part number again. So maybe its changed the version of the code?

Is there anything I can do? Should I try the latest PZSD files I can find?

I have 4.50.40 PSDZ lite. Do you think that is current enough? So when an updated display comes out with a new part number, what is not in the PSDZ data to make it work? Is it a CAFD file?

Worked as expected. I just needed to update my ESYS and psdzdata configuration. I was previously told that "Detect CAFD for SWE" function only worked with ESYS 3.27.1 and psdzdata 4.17.20. This is correct for that version of ESYS, however since we need the updated CAFDs and SWFLs for this GP3 KOMBI, I was successful in using ESYS 3.33.4 and psdzdata lite 4.24.31.

Steps for coding are as follows:

1. uninstall old kombi
2. install new kombi
3. Fire up ESYS 3.33.4 paired with psdzdata lite 4.24.31 in Expert --> Coding mode
4. Connect for F56 Project via Gateway connection
5. Read FA
6. Save FA
7. Edit FA
8. Change Zeitkriterium=0320
9. Edit SALAPA-Element
10. Add 6WB in appropriate alpha-numeric order to existing codes
11. Right-Click on FA at top of tree and click Calculate FP
12. Hit Save Icon
13. Hit Back Icon
14. Anser "Yes" to popup window asing to reload the file in module Coding
15. Right-Click FA and click Activate
16. Read ECU
17. Find "KOMBI" in ECU tree, left-click on it 1x
18. Hit Detect CAFD for SWE button
19. Click the CAFD under the ISTEP that matches the iSTEP of your vehicle
20. Back to ECU tree --> Left-Click on KOMBI ECU
21. Click CODE button, wait for completion and success message
22. Close ESYS
23. Fire-Up ESYS (with ESYS launcher if you haven't used this originally to start ESYS)
24. Perform FDL coding as necessary on your HU to ensure that the following are set as below:
KOMBI_CIC: set to kombi high
EXTERNER_MOST: set to aktiv
25. Enjoy your new GP3 Digital KOMBI

Everything is working as expected on my 2015 (11/2014 build date) F55 Cooper S 4-door Hardtop with NBT EVO retrofit. GP3 6WB KOMBI works perfectly fine on pre-LCI F55 models as this was a previous question in the thread above. Ignore the red triangle in the image ... i have hood open as the car is on a battery tender in the garage all the time as we don't drive it often.

PSdZDATA Lite 4.24.31: https://mega.nz/file/5pxW0SzB#odzLNV...OCOS_XK5jMnCAY
ESYS 3.33.4: https://mega.nz/#!0xAlzCQR!_IiFcdxr-...FuiWzfceHP9uCE
but this procedure is good if you have a new cluster, if I have a used cluster the procedure is same?

Hi everyone, I can't solve a problem with the 6WB Kombi, and despite reading the entire thread and trying every recommended solution, I can't figure it out.

Mini Countryman 2019, Entrynav2, HUD, Most present.

I installed the 6WB in 2021. I didn't code it, and I hadn't read anything yet. It worked flawlessly for two years, until it stopped turning on, went through the initial check, then turned off. It would only turn on for a couple of seconds with the start/stop function.

I haven't found anyone who could solve the problem, so I reinstalled the original Kombi. I think it's a 6WA.

If the 6WB is connected, I can't find the Kombi in the SVT; if I install the 6WA, I can. I changed the production date to 0320, I searched for DKOMBI without success, I checked the most connector and the active fiber is the one on the clip side. If I insert it, I see the return. The only strange thing I see is that when I check BDC_GW, the most doesn't seem to work and flexray doesn't activate. If I activate the trigger, the situation doesn't change. I don't know how to get out of this, any suggestions are appreciated!

so you used 6wb for 2 years without coding it??? So you have been driving the car with the kombi uncoded, full of errors.

first off all when the kombi is not coded it will run in standby mode, the fan wont work to cool it down when it is hot, etc etc…

If the car is equipped with an headup display and you DO NOT see the kombi anymore while it is connected this means it is probably defective. If you dont have a hud you need to do more to see the kombi in the svt tree.

No, I apologize for the confusing explanation. I didn't code it because someone else did, it was coded. I should add that when it turns off, the HUD also stops working.

Worst case scenario. I'm trying to find someone who can run a check on the instrument...

I may have found something that could be causing the malfunction. Checking the connections, I realized that the electrical connector is located slightly differently. So much so that in the 6WB, the connector doesn't fully seat and doesn't engage. Do you think this could be the case?
