Because when I wrote this, Stephan had not included these in his shortcuts.

I have a 2019 F55 MCS and unlike what was on the website, bimmercode didn't display the video option, when I went into the app. I sent them an email requesting clarification and this was their reply:

"the headunit in the car is not able to play videos at all if the coding option is not showing up."

I have to check and see if the headunit isn't capable of playing video...

I run this same setup. No worries.

I have a 2017 Clubman S all 4. Any way to code the extra rear lights to come on when the front fog light button is pushed? I don't need a second button. If one set is on I want them both on. Kinda silly that the lights are installed, but inactive,

Not that I know of. The coding just tells the BCM what you want it to do. Your change would require a change to the BCM, vs. just letting it 'know' the switch is there.

The ones within the fog light housing. Has anyone figured this one out?

The Daytime Running Lights? To turn those on/off (enabled/disabled), its in the Settings menu and then Lights.

Thank you Walt! I'm not sure how that one slipped by me. The DRL setting is in the exact location you mentioned above. However it doesn't quite solve what I'd hope to achieve. I only want to disable the front DRL's (the ones housed with the fog lights). I would like the front DRL's always off and the rear DRL's always on regardless of if the headlights are on or off. I was hoping I could figure out how to do this in expert mode. I believe only the rear DRL settings are in basic mode. I've been meaning to poke around in expert mode but I haven't had a chance yet.

Lamp error

Can anyone tell me how to disable warm front fog lamp check? My lamps appear to work fine, but I get a bulb error on the computer display whenever I switch on the fogs.

2011 S R56

Thanks

My 2015 came with halogen headlights and I replaced them with LCI style LED units I got from AliExpress. All other exterior bulbs were replaced with LEDs. I coded the fog lights to work as cornering lights and the fog light for the particular side comes on when turn signal is activated. The coolest part is that they become adaptive as well. Turning the steering wheel a few degrees in each direction causes the fog light on that side to come on, allowing better vision around curves and corners.

Edit: nevermind, found it on a different forum.

First, please tell me how you did this as this sounds amazing. Secondly, do the fog lights work as normal when turned on with the normal button?

I got my 2022 F56 4 door a couple days ago. It replaced a similar 2017. On my 2017 I remember downloading something or other to my laptop and hooking up a cable and sweating bullets that nothing would go wrong. Today I downloaded Bimmercode for 45 bucks, hooked up my bluetooth OBDC and it was off to the races. Only did basic stuff, but very easy. Some of the OEM stuff was quite annoying. Everything worked except tire temperature, which I guess the sensors don't do. It hasn't been that long, so I guess a setting could revert-we'll see.

I did:
-Auto start stop disable for eco mode, what is ecopro and ecopro+; I chose ecopro
-Auto start stop remember last setting
-Driving Mode-remember last mode
-Startup warning-disabled
-Convenient closing-close windows with remote
-Disable window closing when a door is opened[
-Display full text messages

Any other suggestions?
