Hi my american friends
I'm hoping that maybe some of you would be able to help, i have a f54 cooper s and live in the uk, i have the standard lights, so comes with rear fog lights (its the law here!!)
But dont have a switch to turn on the front fogs, the drl lights turn on automatically.
The bulbs and wiring is all there but no switch.
So does anyone know how to use bimmercode to turn these on as the standard headlights are rubbish!!! Wish i'd got the LED's!! :(

You might not have front fog lights. The front houses could be for the DRL only.

Thanks for your reply, but I have checked and the bulbs are all in there, just don't have the switch?

It would be beneficial to read the entire thread, as aspects of coding the vehicle are discussed. There also are some other threads with similar information. Try searching for "Bimmercode" and check those, many may contain helpful information.

I've done the coding you're looking for (also responded briefly while out of town to your posts, I believe, on the MINIF56 forum), and it's not difficult once you spend some initial time to get through the brief learning curve.

yeah thanks just read the posts again on the f56 forum and can see your posts, but i couldnt find the actual thread regarding the coding itself :( i see some other people over there also tried to find it but had no luck!

just looked and cant believe i missed that have read through that thread multiple times, will give it a go, thanks again.

There should be three bulbs in the housing iif you have the fog lights.The bottom bulb is the fog light bulb.
