add Extra reverse light to rear fog light

Hi All,

I was searching information on how to modify the rear fog light as extra break light. I just remembered my wife told me that the MINI reverse light is not very visible. I was wondering if it is possible to modify the rear fog light as extra reverse light? Anybody has suggestions?

The lens is red, so the rear fog light wouldn't be very good as a reverse light. Better off putting a more powerful bulb in the actual reverse light.

What about chaging the light bulb to white color?

The light bulb is white. The lens is red. Go take a look at it. You'd have to switch out the whole lens to do what you're suggesting. Way too much work and $ IMHO...

Back-up Lighting

Do a search for Daniel Stern Lighting. I ordered a much brighter back-up bulb from him and it works great. A big improvement.
