Depends on the length of the line. At Oxford a car comes off the line every 1.6 minutes 1.6 minutes! (24 hours divided by 900 cars a day!) I would guess the line has 200 cars on it at a time so 4-6 hours...

On the BBC TV show they said one rolls off the line every 68 seconds and the factory runs 22 hours a day. That comes out to about 1160 per day if they don't stop the line... But, that seems to not count the time in the queue of body in white and paint jobs that are apparently queued up on another timeline and held until the assembly line is ready for them. So a car off every 68 seconds is fulfilled by a queue of bodies that took quite a bit of time to press and weld, then paint.
My F56 was built in 5 days from when it was "scheduled for production". The day it went to scheduled I called Mini at the 800 number and they had the targeted completion date already and gave it to me.
Mine is currently waiting for a vessel to arrive to be loaded on.
Average build time is roughly 8 days, give or take. Mine went into production on the 29th of October (F56 fJCW) and is scheduled to be finished on the 9th of November. Clearly longer than 8 days. No other updates from ASK Mini as of 30 seconds ago.
I ordered an F56 on 10/10. It started production on 10/28. Went into the body shop on 10/4. It's in the paint shop today. Scheduled completion date for tomorrow. So 10 days for me.
After seeing the awesome posts from mct, I intended to do something similar with Erik. We ordered and took delivery about the same time (I think he beat me by a week)

Don't know yet but part is Back order right now(site not updated), no eta. 51169345388 If its based off the R56 system ( which i know things were changed) then you would have to add a power line. I would have to see one in person on the terminal outputs. When I get one in , I will figure it out, unless someone post the terminals on the rearview they have right now ? For comparison. Then we can figure out plug and play, code maybe or just add a line, which i can source the electricals. I will try.
Ordered an F55 last Thursday 1/28, but the order didn't get entered into the system until 1/30. I called ASK MINI and they said it was scheduled for production week 6, next week. But then today I get an update from the MA that says its entered production today, 2/2. Amazingly fast. Meanwhile, I can't register in the OL because it can't find the production number. At this rate it will be delivered before the OL knows about it. Is it typical for the OL to run so far behind?

Yes, the OL on MINUSA site is always behind a bit. You can track it faster on shipping sites ( off site on water ) , but once it gets to the port , its easier to call your MA and they make a couple calls to find out the ETA better when it goes through the VDC.

I presume the purpose of the owners lounge is to make new owners get excited about their new purchase and help become enthusiastic new owners. Instead, this site makes me less confident of Mini. Why put up such a broken website? If they can't link to a video, how can they be expected to assemble thousands of parts in a car without any problems.
Meanwhile, folks at ASKMINI have so far always been nice. Sounds like there's no status update until closer to the end of production. Production is supposed to end 2/10. I've checked the WW schedule and they have a ship arriving (and departing) Southampton on 2/12. Is 2 days enough time for the car to get to Southampton? How much in advance will the car get booked on a ship? Does it happen same day or would they schedule it days in advance?

The Owners Lounge hasn't really ever been updated since it was brought online with the Gen 1 R5x MINIs about 15 years ago. I remember ordering my first MINI in 2004 and watching the videos. If you notice, the site still says your MINI is built in Oxford, England. This is no longer true if your MINI happened to be built in the Netherlands or Austria. It is a shame though as there is a lot of potential there that just needs to be brought current.
866-ASK-MINI is your best bet for information.
I have been noticing that 2 days is probably not enough time for your car to make it on a boat. Keep in mind, your car may not get loaded in Southampton. If you have a Netherlands-built MINI, it will be loaded in Zeebrugge.

We were sore, but not seriously injured. Cabin held up great. Doors worked without issue. Got hit from behind on they highway after stopping and driven into the car in front of me. Front end was destroyed.

I've had just over 6 weeks, right at 8 weeks, and pushing 10 weeks for the three builds I've done previously.
All three previous builds have come in through Brunswick, GA (SSIPOA). My build sheet lists "GLSPOA", which I cannot find any reference to. Does MINI ship to the Port of Galveston (Texas) now? MINI of Austin would be the destination.
Looks like our new MINI will be in port on Feb 26th. My dealer put a priority 1 on it, so hopefully it will be at the dealer in Oxnard, CA within 5 business days. Then another 2-3 for the dealer prep. Really excited to take delivery.
We turned in our 2014 Lexus GS 350 F-Sport yesterday (lease was up).
Can't wait to get the MINI so I can get the custom stripes installed, xpel clear bra, Gtechniq coat it, and get the windows tinted.
Super stoked for my first Mini, now I just have to wait the 6-8 weeks for delivery. Hoping for sooner...expecting longer.
