I hadn't checked K-Line because I thought my port of entry was Savannah. But its Brunswick and K-Line does go there. The 'Columbia Highway' is there today and could conceivably load the car. The WW Tiger was scheduled to be in and depart Southampton tomorrow but its been delayed. Won't be leaving until Tuesday. That another chance.

How much in advance do cars get booked on WW ships? Could the fact that it doesn't show up there mean its been booked on K-Line?

I don't know with the K-Line ships. The only way to know if you made it onto one of those is by calling your MA or speaking to someone in MINI customer assistance. All I have seen with my VIN using the W&W track and trace is "No records found." There is only one W&W ship this week, the Resolve, that is showing a stop in Galveston. I think I'm done with looking as the only thing that it's accomplishing is raising my BP.

I could not be more anxious to get this car!
My JCW is on the same shipment as yours! You have been waiting a crazy long time, my JCW started production on 29/1/16 and still made the same shipment.

Dealer is still saying it will arrive in Sydney by April 30.

Ok, now I'm just venting. Another two ships came and went that were going to the port of entry and the car didn't make it on either of those either. What is the deal? Are there thousands of cars sitting in some giant queue to be shipped out? Was there a sudden rush? Are there fewer ships? How can you run a business like this with cars just sitting for weeks on end at the port? Do they lose cars at the port?

That is really cool samurai mike! I was hoping I'd find another MINI on the ship with mine

Mine was built the first week of Feb - so not that long. The december dates I mentioned were the date I bought it/ordered.

Just got off the phone with customer relations. Looks like my call to them on Friday preceded my car's getting on board the Bishu Highway later that day. According to the latest update it's on board and headed to Barcelona, then across the Atlantic on the way to Galveston. Good news for sure. So I waited for two weeks to get on a vessel. You just don't know the current status, especially if you get onto a K-Line ship. The most up to date information comes from customer relations. Incidentally, the owner's lounge link is still showing me waiting for transport even though it's been at sea for 3+ days. Scheduled to arrive in Galveston on 3/9/16 according to the schedule on the K-Line website.

I was able to follow my ship, Galveston highway, on an iPhone app called "marine traffic". Helped with the wait for sure.

Inspired by your story I called again and much to my amazement, they told a similar story. My order is on the Columbia Highway (K-Line) that left 2 days ago and is only now reported to be on the ship. They said the ship was running 3 days late. That it was originally scheduled for 2/19. That doesn't sound so bad. According to them the car finished production on the 11th, but didn't make it to the port until the 15th, so catching a ship on the 19th seems fairly fast. Except they say the ship left 3 days later on the 22nd.

Now I happen to know the car was done on the 10th and I saw the ship leave on the 21st. All their reported dates seem a day behind, but still, sounds like a plausible excuse for what otherwise seemed like a long wait.

I have my car now, but my car's ship didnt leave until a day or two later than it was supposed to....and all of that eventually turned into hitting Port Hueneme 8 days later than originally scheduled. Just FYI. Prepare for a delay to lead to further delays, and so on, and so on....

Moving along. About time to start checking which ships are heading to Galveston in the near future...
Took it a while, but made it on the Delhi Highway (K-Line). Left Southampton today. Scheduled to reach Galveston on 3/17.

I'm still tracking the Columbia Highway using marinetraffic.com. Its supposed to arrive in Baltimore tomorrow night. Meanwhile there's a storm off the coast. The RCCL Anthem of the Seas, the ship that was in hurricane force winds a few weeks ago, turned back again because of the same storm front that the Columbia Highway is sailing into.

Winds are reported to be 32-37 knots by the ship and its speed has dropped from 18 knots all the way down to 4 knots. Seems like its practically stopped, presumably to prevent damage due to the storm. The storm is supposed to slowly pass and be fairly calm by morning. Amazing all the information you can get via the internet these days. I wonder if this storm will cause a delayed arrival.

My MINI arrived at Port of Hueneme in CA on Sunday. My dealer called me Monday letting me know my MINI has arrived to the port and that it would be there a couple days longer as they are installing the JCW Tuning kit.

I just know that they will call me this Friday to say it's ready to be picked up. How do I know this? Simple, I'm going out of town for the weekend and won't be able to pick it up until Monday at the earliest. #firstworldproblems

After more than a year since my '10 Justa Clubman was totaled in an accident, I'm happy to say that my '16 MCs has left port and should arrive to the States late next week.
Felt like something has been missing for the past year and that's all about to change. Wasn't that excited during the production but now that there is an expected time frame, anticipation is getting to me.
Thunder Grey, black roof, black 16" wheels, black bonnet stripes cold weather, premium, and wired packages. Window tint appointment already made.

Curious why the Delhi Highway, which lists it's ports of call, in order, as: Southampton (2/27), Barcelona (3/2), and Galveston (3/16) is currently listed as on it's way to Jacksonville (3/13) having left Barcelona two days ago.

Same thing happened with the Bishu Highway which is running the same itinerary about 8 days ahead of the Delhi. Maybe they are going to Jacksonville on their way to Galveston instead of the way back from Veracruz as the schedule states. The Bishu is still on schedule for a 3/9 arrival in Galveston.

The day has finally arrived! We get to go pick up our MINI tomorrow! Looks like March has some great specials for us too: 0.9% financing for 72 months with $500 cash, $500 USAA savings, and $500 owners loyalty (our daughter who lives with us owns a MINI).

JCW Tuning kit has been installed. Can't wait to drive it!

Custom black stripes, clear bra, and window tint will be going on STAT.

Here are a few pics my dealer text me today:

Congrats! Looks great!

Good to hear the March specials. I hadn't checked yet. Mine should get to me within the last 10 days of March or so.

No USAA, but I'll get the owner loyalty.

Hmm...reviewing the specials on the MINI website I only see 0.9% for 72 months on 2015 models, not 2016.

For the 4-door Hardtop looks like the only thing I can get is the $500 owner loyalty credit...

Wonder what their "normal" loan rates are at the moment. I can get 2.15% from my credit union. In the past MINI has either been able to beat that (got my 2011 with 0.9% for 60 months) or match it (once through MINI financing, once through Bank of America).

Guess we'll see.
