Yes, I have a mechanical limited slip differential that makes its efforts pointless or, at worst, counterproductive. Shutting it off is a manual every time thing and has downsides (warning in cluster, can't use cruise control, etc.) and shutting it all the way off disables stability control, which I don't really want to do on the road either. I'm wondering if there is a happy medium.

I tried again and got the same message I got the first time. Every time I tried again I got the same message. I'm giving up for now.

Coding via WiFi with Bimmercode is excruciatingly slow. Is there any way to use a cable with a MacBook Pro (without using Parallels or any other Windows app)?
Bimmercode seems to get confused when there are multiple interfaces to choosefrom (i.e. cell). I found it works quite well if you 1) turn airplane mode on, 2) turn on wifi (so that the cell link is off)

Correct, you'd have to use parallels or similar type of program to get windows on your/our macs.

I went to Target and got a $250 POS windows computer for my ESYS and Byte Tronik ECU flashing program

I tried with Carly without success. BimmerCode is better, I managed to activate some fun stuff:

- Tires temperature
- Sport mode by default
- No more start / stop
- Glass going up and down even with open door
-...

Has anyone done what I'd like on a F57 ?
I removed comfort access when I ordered my Mini and now I regret it.

nobody has an idea?

Do you have the little switch to fold the mirrors manually? Mine is next to the controls to adjust the mirror.

I think I have the code someplace. I'll look for it

It sure does on my 2017. Disabling traction control to any extent turns cruise control off. Likewise, enabling cruise control or setting a speed re-enables traction control.

I guess that makes sense. If you need extra traction you probably shouldnt be on cruise. Its just mini caring for us ......

What you really want is to disable the e-diff braking. I am interested in coding for that. E-diff braking is pointless if you have a limited slip diff.

I literally just went and started my car before responding to make sure I wasn't crazy, but no 4 gongs. The only time I get gongs at start is if I don't have my seatbelt fastened or if it's 37 degrees F or below.

Bingo. That a thing that can be disabled? The closest I've found so far is that it was possible on older BMWs: http://www.onelapx1.com/blog/how-to-...w-actually-fun

Hmm, actually, I found something more here: http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1231483

I wonder if our cars have C_Funktion_Differenzialsperre_aktiv_l. I'll have to dust off my windows laptop and take a look to see if it's in the coding tool.

Crap, sorry, that's it I guess, seat belt gongs - I tried to disable them in ASCM using Beemercode but it says can'ta access the module, I sent in a support request from the app and I'm waiting for the reply. So if I disable the seat belt initial 3 gongs it will get rid of those annoying gongs then I guess, thanks for pointing that out.
