Why is it then when I DON'T drive the MINI I think I see more than when I do? case in point... while on way to work I see one turning like to go to IHOP (black R50), one across the road at the gas station (red R53), and best of all while AT work (yellow with black bonnet stripes R50). I did'nt even get to say HI to the guy that came in with the yellow R50 because I was busy. If he happens to be part of our group, came in to look at car top carries I belive (@ sears). I'm board at work and thought I'd share my MINI sightings while NOT in mine lol

 

I was right by sears the other day but your MINI wasnt in the lot so I didnt stop...

 

95% of the time if the MINI is not outside of sears I'm not there... but if my girlfriends car hasn't moved in like a week and a half (or it needs something done to it) i drive it... today happens to be one of those not drove in like a week and a half so...

 

Maria and Dad taged a blue mc in Davenport last night gave the owner a card told him if he like fun and good people then come join our group

 

This isn't an Eastern Iowa sighting but, we saw a grand total of 4 MINIs on our trip to South Dakota. 1 in Iowa (on I35), 1 in Minnesota, 1 on I90 in S.D. and 1 other on Needles Highway. The one on Needles was very friendly and flashed her lights at us. I was surprised we didn't see more out there. Great place to motor! I am posting the link to the photos I took out there. And yes, my baby is in almost all of them.

Spotted a nice looking blue MCS with plates of PDQMINI in IC last night on the way to dinner, quite nice fellow who seemed like an enthusiast due to his MTTS badge for Hawaii!! Seemed like a nice guy but unfortunately wasnt able to get him our info. :( Hopefully I'll run into him again and can get him info about the 25th.

 

Black R56 over at pier 1 in coralville at around 4 ish. I was at the gas station next door getting something to drink for work and I was going to walk over but they left as I was checking out.

 

Blue MCS on I-380 heading north (thanks for the wave) followed in 1/4 mile or less by a Silk Green MC (didnt notice me waving my fool head off)

 

2 in Dubuque yesterday. One blue, one red. The blue one didn't seem interested in being friendly. I see the blue one parked frequently at Kennedy Mall. The red one gave a wave.

 

Spotted a Red MINI on the strip last night. Gave a wave (thanks).


Im heading over to the VA lot to tag all the ones I see there all the time witeh event fliers for the 25th. Hopefully they're there today!

 

Spotted a BRG/w MC pulling out of the farmers stand by Aegon in CR wasnt close enough to get a wave in.

Spoke to the owner of a local Blue 03 MCS last night. He just purchased it in June. He has checked out our website and some of the posted pics. He will probably join in on some runs next season. He told me his MINI loves the cold weather. I am planning to drive mine in the predicted snowfall tomorrow. I can't wait!
