We saw a a sharp looking MY/B with black bonnet stripes in Cedar Rapids about 9:15 pm Saturday evening, on Collins Road just east of the Rockwell-Collins complex. Gave the ol' but it was too dark to see an acknowledgment.

 

Black R56 south side of Iowa City yesterday before we got our 10 inches of snow. I was in the Jeep so you probably missed me. (but I waved for the heck of it)

 

PW looked like R56 south side of Iowa City turning left away from the old Mendards area I gave you a honk and a wave as I passed

 

Yellow with Black Bonnet Stirpes spoted south bound I-380 today at 12:30ish. I was on my way to work and waved, they waved back. If your out there let me know

 

Also (since i'm at work and watch cars drive by) pepper white MINI just drove by my work (sears) at 3:43! didn't even stop in to say hi... what a nice driver...lol

 

Ok it was me I thought about stopping in but had to get home to try and fix this stupid MINI door lock... and still it eludes me!!!!

I did really debate stoping in however!

 

I kinda figured it was you but wasn't sure, and i had to give you some crap for not stopping in... What's going on with the door lock?

 

about 2 weeks ago my locks froze I got the working again however from the inside the handle doesnt work at all. The bowden cable is detached from the acutator and with the limited space (about 3 inches) I cant figure out how to attach it again.
also the passenger side actuator motor has been not working for a couple months so that just needs replaced.


For the moment I have to roll down my window and open from the outside of the car, (thank god it is a small car with a well placed outside handle)

I saw a blue R56 MCS at the Plasma Services place on Brady today. It had black "viper stripes" and looked like it had the JCW package (it had black multi-spoke JCW rims). I tagged it with a Projekt German card and if he joins there Ill refer him to this place.

 

so, as i was going to lunch i happend to "run into" a 2006 MINI COOPER JCW at the car wash. The guy lives here in iowa city/ coralville.... asked if he was part of the group and he said no... i told him about it and that we try to go to events and what not and he said he would check it out. awesome or what??!!

Here i am standing at work and right in front of me (at the gas station) a red MINI with a white top pulls in to get gas... shortly after it leaves and drives right in front of me out onto 965. didn't get to see which way it went from there but. time was 4:50 pm....

 

I am guessing I saw the same red with a red top the other day in the Coralville area as well R53 I am guessing 2004 - 05

Saw a Red Mini with White top and stripes at the intersection of Burlington and Riverside. Younger guy driving it, waved but he didn't wave back :( (was out washing Walt yesterday, good thing it rained snowed all over him today...)
