Found a local station that has E85. Did the 30% mix and will do some data logs today to see how she feels. Been running at 1 o'clock using 93 so I guess I will go up slowly to see what AFR's and timing are.

Take it slow as your fuel trims will need to re-adapt. You have both e85 and jb+ which cause you to run leaner and it uses fuel trims to adapt. You guys may want to check your long term fuel trims and ensure you aren't at 30% ( I assume to be max; good chance I am wrong) or another round number in that range.

Meth can also jack with fuel trims as you are changing your mixture on the fly.

I'm going to fill my car up today. And I'm on default setting but I will be doing 10 gallons of 93 and 2.5-3 gallons of E85. I will pay attention to AFR and timing. Looking forward to see how the car reacts to it. Still pissed that Sunoco took 94 away four-five years ago.

I put 2.64 E85 then topped it off with 93.

Where should the long term fuel trims be? As long as they are less that 30% ok.

What else should I be looking at? I believe I have all the important ones.

I also watch my coolant temp. No use doing logging runs if you aren't up to temp as the DME limits boost in that case.

For fuel trims, they constantly adjust to give you the correct amount of fuel based on the fuel you use and small differences from car to car. As long as they aren't maxed, you are ok. They get maxed when you add e85 (lean it out but raise octane) and the jb+ (lies to DME in order to raise boost) and the fuel trims are used to adjust.

I remember Terry mentioning long term fuel trim maxes at 33% in another thread somewhere?

Pull the code. Good chance it may be knocking or a fuel trim code. Need to let it adjust. Did you go out and romp on it?

If you rode it hard right off the bat, I bet you ran lean and were knocking. Gotta give it time for the fuel trims to adjust.

The only code I've ever seen has been a partial throttle air mass code. Just an annoyance code some models need a CAN tool to disable. Lowering the dial position can also keep it off. Could also be a defective JB+ or some other simple issue. Bottom line is the CAN Tool is strongly suggested as a companion tool with the JB+ to read the code and email those specific details in for support. Without knowing the actual code it's impossible to provide anyone with technical assistance.

Burger Motorsports (BMS) Tune(s)-image-2270184038.jpg Burger Motorsports (BMS) Tune(s)-image-2474366271.jpg Couple of logs from tonight. Everything appears to be good at 2 o'clock with the roughly 30% E85 mix. Someone mentioned to keep an eye on the long term fuel trim and that appeared to hover around 0 to -5 if that makes sense. Anyone that could help under stand the readings on that would be appreciated. Disregard the missing boost reading.

wanted to really test my JB+ so filled it with VP 96 OCT pure gas , no corn squeezin and set for 3 o clock. Runs great. Just can't afford $10 a gallon fuel. The exhaust has a nice gray color too, not black soot.

Took mine down to 11:00 after some issues (hesitation/detonation). 91 octane is the best you can get at altitude.

Im really curious and plan to keep an eye on this but I will also be running 70/30 91/E85 as the gas station 2 minutes from home has E85 availible and one out by work is planning on adding it.

Anyone else had their turbo make that turbo squeal noise like rally cars make when letting off from boost? I cranked up the JB+ today to 3 o'clock. Running about a 30% blend of Ethanol and 93 octane.

I hear my aftermarket blow off valve when I let off the gas. Not sure about the squeal.

So I'm not sure if it's a fluke, but everything looks good with timing and AFR's. This is with the JB+ at 100 with 100% meth.

I won't know forsure until I go through this tank completely and refill again, incase this current tank has a diluted E85 blend.
