Thats funny how much have you spent on your Mini Big Howe?

In all honesty Big Howe you have become and act like a vendor now, testing promoting and selling RMW wares and obviously promoting stuff in the right manner by telling us all the plus points or data.

But we as consumer are inquisitive and want to know certain results, so really by hiding these you're not doing yourself or Jan any favours.

Most people will wonder why you dont share with the community certain data and why Jan avoids certain questions like the plague.

You have to remember that a lot of us have been involved in marketying and know how it works.

I've enjoyed our banter this weekend, I'm sure it'll help us get into the 12s and first to 106, thanks for that.

Where is Isellem? I'll have to give him a ring........

226 hub horsepower for $3261 just need injectors and tune now, I reckon we might loose 6 at the top, but we'll see.

I didn't realise till this afternoon that my SAFC was switching on as soon as I hit the throttle even at 2k, even though I had it starting at 5600, so thats why the numbers were down on the day.

We'll see what this weekend will bring

I haven't pushed or sold anything. Only defended the data I have collected on my own. As far as I am concerned, what I collect is IP, not the community's. What I choose to do with it and who uses it is not up to the community. If you suddenly found 30hp would you be calling up ThinkMINI and telling them how? Somehow I think not.
The line that comes up a lot with folks I've debated is, you'd be better served working with me than against me, you'd be farther along. Sad part is myself, Jan, Adam and others all tried to help you, gave you recommendations and hints, and this is where it is. I'm sorry to say your stubbornness has got you in this corner, and I don't see anyone eager to help you out.

Lol... I'm the least frustrated person here as my car did what was promised of it at the time thanks to Paul and Jan... most powerful M45 MINI in the UK... fastest non nitorus M45 MINI over a 1/4 mile in the UK... and faster side-by-side than my mates Celica GT4... That's all I wanted but on top of that I got a great car for road, track and strip and that was thanks to Jan and Paul.

The other MINI tuners in the UK such as GTT, StinkMINI etc... they can go get ****** as IMO they do nothing but over promise and under deliver so I'm glad I've alienated people like that. However, I still respect the likes of Minimania, Lohen & West Tuning who produce cars that do what they say on the tin and step up to the mark and fix cars that go wrong FOC.

At the moment I want nothing more for my car than a new clutch, flywheel and diff and guess who's recomendation I'll be following for those bits! Once I get these I'll start spending some real coin to get it exactly as I want it.

What does get my goat however, and I'll repeat it as you seem to be missing the point or the genetic makeup to understand... I would like to see some tuned MINI performance data... you know, the stuff that always sits to the right of the power and torque figures in every car magazine on the planet.

How does 260 whp translate to the road/track/strip in terms of performance data? Or is that just to 'wankerish' to expect a reply to?

If you don't want to share it due to your own IP reasons then fair play but don't knock us for giving out information (good or bad) when you won't yourself!

Here here BigShow. I haven't been on NAM much these days. When I do have extra time I've been enjoying my car. The wife and drove to a local dealership a couple hours ago for her to test drive a really nice 325Ci convertible. When we got back from the test drive there was a group around the Mini looking over every detail. Makes me proud to have built such a cool car.

Over the next few week on go the Cross coilovers and the StopTech BBK. Even more fun. That's why I bought my car. I didn't build it to drag race but of course I want to know what it's capable of.

I have dyno pulls from three different dynos telling my how much power the car makes.

Have you ever seen the Dynolicius App for the Iphone? I have it and play with it regularly which makes me love my car even more. Gives all kinds of good data.

Haha... I bet that happens quite a lot with your car Mine is an utter shed in comparison but since fitting the front mount it gets a bit more attention from people wondering what's under the bonnet.

A few people over here have been raving about them but not got an iphone so not experienced myself... any good?

Yeah poor choice of word.. I'll take that back... naturally when you're friends with someone and proud of their work you promote what they do in a completely natural way to those around you so shouldn't feel guilty about it.... well that's what I should have said anyway!

got it thanks thought it was a bit odd. kinda stupid of dynapak to not update the software really. I mean yeah ok so if you know it is wheel even though it says flywheel but how hard is it to change the display code?

Hell, I'm going to be very interested in two things after I get my car tuned

#1 WHP
#2 I'd love to know how quick 0-60, 30-70

....might have to get this beast on a track one of these days

Anyway, the bantering keeps things interesting as long as its constructive and or fun I like seeing the competition and progress

Right that's enough banter for today "Good night America… wherever you are."

Now this is what the "Mini Community" should be about Driving our cars and having fun building them I'm worn out listening to all this crud We had a club meeting last Friday night, and after eating just hungout in the parking lot talking Mini's. Come on guy's "can't we all get along?"

Hey Longboard, what year 325Ci? We just got my wife a 05 330Ci convertible, bright red.

I wish I was closer because I would love to have a ride in your unique beast. I am just like you I want to see in my own unique way of what the car is capable of just to say I did it as chapter in my life and not to really set records or break them just to make a story of it down the road. Speaking of stories of cars have you seen the trailer for Love the Beast? If you have Eric Banna is dead on about a man and his beast (car). I am anxious to see that movie because just the preview is very inspirational.

I have a racelogic box here at the shop. Folks are welcome to borrow it for testing when they're here on the dyno tuning with Jan. You might even get let off if you get stopped by the right police officer in the area

We're at sea level and the atmospheric conditions are generally good. Road surfaces are, however, shall we say, highly variable.

0-60 - 4.1
1/4 mile - 12.55@116
3050 lbs with driver

Quick Paul, how much power is it making? Just yanking your chain

SC

Look forward to seeing the results, I've got more data on MINI's using the vbox than anyone in the UK I should think... oh and your car is making 391 bhp.

Oh yeah Kelli got stopped didn't she, cant believe you lot can get so badly done / fined for having nice looking cars compared to some of the sheds you see driving around the streets of America
