Is the V-box made in the UK?

You be surprised, I could put you in my car and on slicks you would be within 1/10th of me within a few runs, but you would run the same mph.

Yeah the Vbox is quite a trick bit of kit, Gnaster has one what he's used on track days and I believe its helped him knock quite a few secs off.

With the £ to $ rate as it is its a bargain

No correction factors for driveline loss or anything else. Basically an engine dyno going through the transmission.
Latest ones call it axle horsepower and axle torque

Think the way this began with all the Historical, on a foggy day down by the river, Blah Blah Blah (thought I was reading Jackie Stewarts auto again), lead to the rocky thread. I for one was expecting a lot more than 205 HP, while that is very respectable it is hardly historic.....

I love arguing with simple minds. It's good you keep jumping on me, keeps you guys from going to tears knowing Paul And Chris are the only option you have for tuning your cars.

And I love the fact that you keep forgetting two important things Forrest:

1. Jan tuned my car
2. My car has an RMW head

For the RMW dyno shootout I thought of another catogry,

Stock head with an RMW tune, best overall power gets a free camshaft

I'll have a word with Hubie and see if we can arrange a RMW dyno head day,
I'll put $200 for the best overall performance on the day.
Who?? Hubie

No offence to Hubie but he hasn't been active in the Mini "community" for some time now. Most don't have a clue who he is unless they've been around a good while.

What is he up to these days?

He was at SEMA with a Clubman on a stand and I believe he and Jay had a stand togeather there.

He's still messing with MINI's thats for sure, he's always flat out working on something you know what he's like.

Err no... it was run with a stock map... then it was run with a bluefin map... then you mapped it... then Chris mapped it.

380cc Injectors:

Stock Map - 275 bhp
Bluefin Map - 281 bhp

440cc injectors:

Your Map - 286 bhp
Chris Map - 282 bhp

Dude, if you want to map it again the car is ready and waiting... it's not my fault you can't keep your coffee in its cup! :D

my point is this... Chris had his mind made up what he wanted
I kept telling him to give me the data that was on the dyno.... then he changed to what he wanted

You can believe what you want

You got it in the wrong order it was a Newman then a 1320 then a RMW,

In fact I reckon Jan hadn't even thought of the name RMW when it made its maiden voyage up the strip, sorry Slow Howe another boring video

It's OK Bigshow, I understand your frustration. Paul has lead you down this road and now you have come to realize all of the wasted resources you have put in with him. Its alright, you can take it out on me. Once you forget the financial loss, you be able to move along. Hard part is, you've alienated everyone else, so you can't turn to anyone else to help you.

Paul, I expect the attacks from you. You have nothing else to cling to other than some old drag racing history and fish tales you've made up to satisfy your customers about how much power they are making. Keep it coming.

I remember you guys arguing about it as I was stood there whilst it was all going on having a go at both of you for making me stand there for so long whilst you played with zeros and ones!

As I said above, the car is yours anytime you want it on any dyno you want in the UK for a remote tuning session... just say the word and I'll deliver it... I'll even chuck on Alskis other shorty header if you like
