Maybe, maybe not...

I just read about the first (that I know of) TVS aftermarket app. It's an Edlebrock bolt on for new Mustangs.....

Maybe they're thinkin that getting things out will result in more sales not less, or now that a couple manufacturers have used the technology in factory apps, many more are getting in line....

Let's just hope for the best....

Matt

That's AN engine of the year...

there are lots depending on class, I think about 10 a year... And to even be considered, it has to be nominated by the manufacturer. Also, long term reliability isn't really taken into account.... That's not to say the BMW V10 was a bad motor, but "Engine of the Year" awards aren't the objective gold standard that they'd like everyone to believe...

They(Edlebrock) had these on display at SEMA. Looked like a very nicely integrated system.

interesting comment from a good racer...

He normally drives a MGA at vintage events. Ran the CLK63 AMG at the very same track (Thunderhill) and only gained about 3 seconds a lap with 3x the HP. FWIW, Thunderhill has two pretty good straights and a few high speed turns as well as the windy stuff.

HP is good, but not a cure to everything.

Hmmm that's sexy! You can just make out the screws to boot! Are those custom upper(output duct) and lower flanges for the TVS? Can you show us a frontal shot please!

Please keep this project moving along Jan! When you get the 900 it'll be a piece of cake for you to retrofit it for us 1.6Ls drivers!

don't worry, it's almost done

it was run before with a simple box on top where the w2a covered half the ports to the head and it still made big power

everything on this is custom, this is the only TVS Mini in the world but I'm sure we will have a few claim I stole it It's really a sad situation as we continue to innovate and bring exciting products to market that work.
The custom cam is already in the car as it was ground a few months ago.
This has a custom stepped header and 3" exhaust

Getting the TVS900 to fit and work will be simple compared to this monster of a charger. Knowing the power it's capable of and the way it's delivered brings exciting times for the R53 owners for years to come

It's about time!!!

I've been waiting very impatiently for those Cross to come off so they can go on my car. The Stoptech BBK and Carbotech pads have been sitting on my work bench for weeks waiting on you.

Get-er done boy!

the inside radius is work of art, those pictures won't be shown

the CNC guy has mad skills, knowing what he is capable of, I can't wait to see the final part. Watching him get a 3" thick core in this and still get it to fit under the hood..... that's skill

The TVS900 will be a piece of cake after this one

That's what I want to hear - I hope my SC lasts till your TVS 900 kit is out.
Will the current RMW cam work well with the TVS 900 kit?

I tested the TVS1320 with the cam first , then went to a custom grind to better use the upper power capabilities of the TVS. It just blows the tires down low anyway

Cool - well considering I just put in your cam and header - when your TVS 900 kit comes out I'll do it with the head - but I might keep the current cam if $$$ are tight. No matter I am sure it will still be a ton of fun.
