Drivetrain RMW's "Guess what's in the box?"
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit that's already started. You should have heard Collin up at Church's the one/only time I ever met the guy in person.

"I made that for him, you know..." blah blah blah..
Sure. Sure you did. Go play with your V-8 M3 and stop messing around with the Minis.

Hey, I'm new to the site and a little late in the game when it comes to modding my MCS, I recently sold my Ducati and have turned my focus to my mini now. I just got done reading through this entire post, and after hearing reading about the TVS900, put me on the list. I think I am going to forget about buying another bike and just stick to the mini.

tested the new ECU today
runs the stock throttle body and is fully calibrated now
accepts tuning changes while it runs. Will be able to run alternate maps for methanol and nitrous. Has two step and the all of the features you need.
We will be going through the canbus now to turn off the check engine light. This may take some time but the ecu is operational now.
I will be running this on the TVS for now to see what it can do.

I'm confused I thought all you had to do was tune it
Have you changed the spec of the kit ?
.Don't worry Paul things are coming along just fine. Here is one piece of the puzzle Paul.
i am still confused as to what that is....
anyone have any ideas? because it sort of looks like the intake manifold... but its a weird shape for that... but the intake hose on the bottom looks like it could mate up to his blower top on the previous page...

it's a custom w2a intake manifold
hmm
interesting design, never seen one that looks quite like that. im interested to see what the full system looks like
i take it youl still be running those custom FMIC's with the fans on the back to cool the water for this intake manifold?

it has a heat exchanger down in the lower grill, no fans required

you might have been thinking about the custom radiator with the dual fans?
we have upgraded the water pump to the core though as we will be putting out much more power than the previous version
we are really excited to get it out on the track
I'll check again tomorrow to see what the status is and let you know
35k miles on the car and hopefully by September I think I can use the TVS900.
Hey Jan, some people in the bay area were thinking of doing another tune day with me putting it together again at the same place, Goodies shop.
I know your extremely busy but let me know if this could be something you can do again in the next few months or so.

Yes, the TVS900 is being eagerly awaited by many here i imagine. It'll be truly awesome on the Mini, and even better on Laguna Seca
And i'd be up for a 'tune day' also if you make it up to the bay area soon.

Could it be the new "Eaton TVS R900", for MCS R53.

HOT
wait... or cold? lol
That looks beautiful and as long as I gt my 300+ whp and 250+trq i'm a happy camper.

I drew it up and Gary made it happen in the tiny space provided

I didn't design this with 3 laps in mind... it's made to run all day long on the track
