Invidia Q300 R56 exhaust
My Invidia exhaust finally came today, so I rushed home from work early and installed it!
I'm VERY happy with it, this exhaust is the ticket as far as cat-backs go...the ones I've heard at least. (other than custom of course...) It's deep, kind of sounds STi-ish to me sometimes. Not obnoxious and no drone that I have heard yet, I honeslty haven't driven it around very much yet, because I'm about to go out of town for the weekend, but wanted to make sure you guys got some pictures!
I also made a video clip, but it came out horrible, I will make a bunch ASAP when I come home on Monday.
Thought it would be good to show that this muffler is indeed straight-through...thats lots of light on the other end .
Mmmmm, big tips:
Installation was a BREEZE. I have never installed an exhaust before, but this is really easy...did it with ramps. Luckily I'm small so I could squeeze under there though! I still want to adjust it a little bit, but no fitment issues at all.
I HIGHLY recommend this exhaust so far. I want to give a big thanks to JSC Speed for their excellent service and taking GREAT care of me with this exhaust.
Sound clips to come .

They're actually not touching the bumper...
They do fill the entire opening and the gap between them and the bumper is very small. I'm really not concerned about it though...it sounds too good for me to care.
Must get home to drive it more!

I actually made an In-Car one last night...didn't have a chance to upload it yet though. I'm at work, I will do it tonight, I promise!
The video clip was shot with my digital cam made for still shots, so the sound isnt the best. I noticed though that if you don't have a decent set of speakers with good bass, you can hardly tell the sound difference in the video.

Also, I think there is a bit more adjustment in it and they might be able to go down a tad. Haven't bothered to try it yet though. I really don't care about it.
You can always trim the rear valence slightly, someone would never even notice that it was done if you did it right.
And you are right...this IS the best sounding exhaust for the R56 that I've heard too!

It hasn't melted at all yet. Granted, it hasn't been very long, but still.

My tips are TOUCHING my rear valance (Like, so close it vibrates against it) and no melting yet, just a little crispy looking. If there's any air buffer at all there's no way the valence is melting . Just not enough radiant heat...
