haha, I went with the Invidia and I didn't even know this thread existed! Pure and simple...I youtubed the hell out of every single exhaust I could find for the mini cooper and the invidia won, hands down! I was expecting the system to be more expensive than the Alta or the quicksilver and was completely surprised that it was WAY cheaper. I was sold. no further comparison needed!

Anyway, I'm not going to say anything that hasn't already been said. So I'm just going to agree with the general consensus of:

1) Best sounding exhaust on the market
2) Easy installation
3) Little to no drone
4) Gains felt (butt dyno)
5) Giant muffer tips look BEASTLY

This post is useless I know, I'm sorry. no pics or videos or new info.

My tips keep hitting the bumper even after I originally put washers between the hanger brackets when I installed the system(with 1/4" bumper clearance). I'm going to check the slip joint, maybe it's slipped back and is pushing the muffler back and up into the bumper again.

Adjust the middle section- raise and lower it. By doing this it will determine better fitment in the bumper.

So when I purchased my 2012 MCS roughly 3 months ago, it already came with the Invidia Q300 Catback - When i start the car the exhaust vibrates and hits this metal plate/cross member in the center underneath the car - Is there a way to adjust it higher so it wont hit this plate? Once the exhaust has been warmed up, it expands and comes in contact with the cross piece permanently so there's no vibration to be heard.

I just want it completely away from it altogether.

is it welded?

Is it welded together? If not, you can loosen the nearby clamp and wiggle the pipe a bit - hold the pipe in position (higher up than it was) and retighten. I had a similar issue until I fully TIG welded it together.

Oh ok, i'll have to give this a try - Right now I have no means of getting under it so I'll need to purchase some ramps or jack stands maybe... I also think there is an exhaust leak coming from one of the clamps as well - during a hot day I can see liquid dripping down out of one the clamp points (the first one where the cat meets the Invidia piping) and it also sounds raspy under the car. A tig weld may be in order - Anyone know of any good exhaust shop in the Connecticut area? I would love to bring it in somewhere and just have them weld up the entire exhaust and make sure there are no leaks to be found anywhere else.
