Maybe I have a sensitive seat but I noticed the boost Seems like the turbo spools faster. But anyway it runs better.

Iam in Canada, anyone with a good website to refer to the Q300 ?
Is is the best one (I know you guys have it haha) you would buy (again) if you had the chance ??
thanks all !!
Don't have pictures but can say mine sticks out about 1/2 inch more than the stock (with the shortened tips - but that was an early Gen 2 issue that is another subject). It really nicely fills the opening in the rear bumber. However, the system comes in 3 pieces. They fit together with a slipfit with a lot of room for adjustment for length so everyone's is probably a little different.

I bought mine off Ebay...great price.

Would I buy it again... Well yes and no. It is a little louder that I would perfer at speeds above 70 at which point it drones a bit but it is tolerable (not as loud as my MGA was with 13:1 compression and a glass pack ). So crusing on the highway is a bit of a pain. But, I love it around town and passing people. It has a great sound at WOT. But this is probably the way it is with any of these systems (Borla, Magnaflow, etc). There are some great Youtube posts comparing this system to others that you could look up. Am I going to take it off?...NO not unless it will not pass the sound limits of the tracks I go to but I am told I should not have a problem.

Thanks.
and you got an asto black with enkei rims just like me haha
would be nice to actually see how it looks on a mini, I saw a pictures of someone and it didnt look nice at all, like you could see the cat squarish showing, the tips were looking like they were touching ...
Do you remember who you bought it from and what price ?(maybe pm me if you dont want to put it here)

Iam not a huge fan of a big noise as I see dirtcheap honda making huge noises and it looks (sounds actually) aweful, like fake sound...
I just cant really tell from the video if its too loud or just not sounding good or else ...

anybody with picture pretty please ?

Here you go...just taken today:

I'm not a the hugest fan of the rolled tips, wish they were slash cut.........but I AM the hugest fan of everything else about the Invidia.

Get compliments on it all the time, from complete strangers. The sound makes me smile everytime I drive the car, there is no better sounding exhaust. With the combination of my open DDM intake and the Invidia, it is loud...especially once you're running 20psi of boost. You can hear it coming from far far away. My friends and family always comment they know when I'm coming. It is a very refined loud though, do not think Honda at all. It is a very smooth, deep sound (the deepest available in my opinion)...with a very "full" volume. You can see more pics of it in my gallery if you want.

But to answer you're questions...it gets nothing but from me.

I am running a stock tune (12 lbs boost?), downpipe and cat, so I am probably quieter than Thumper here. Got to say I like the sound. This is nothing like the farty sound of a cheap muffler on on Honda. Now his is a nice example of how the tips are tucked under the bumper; mine stick out about an inch compared to his. When it is done right, like his shows, it fills the bumper cutout nicely, and no touching the bumper. Remember this is all adjustable. Now I do like the rolled tips, especially when they are polished.

As for price, a quick check on ebay is about $560, that's probably what I paid.

Yea it looks nice ! would love to see for behind if possible.
I did check ebay, saw the one you were talking about, email the seller to see how much it would cost to ship to Canada but still no answer ...
checked his feedback tough, quite a few ppl complained about the same thing, slow shipping and sometimes no stock and seller never mentioned ...

Iam about to buy this one soon, I think its the best looking one out there, price wise it is very appealing.

Now matter how tight you cranked it it was not tight enough, I had it welded and now there is literally no drone . Maybe slight under WOT in a high gear

Just installed mine last night! It sounds sweet but a few comments. After a little drive and blowing smoke out everywhere lol i noticed that the pipes are sticking out further now has anyone else seen this? And it’s rattling like crazy! Should i take off the stock skid plate under the car or did everyone leave it on?

Lol the rattleing is the structural brace(i used 3/4 inch spacers on the brace before i had it welded). If the tips stick out more its coming loose. Get it welded

I read ppl installed it them self; some didnt have problem; other had drone sounds and had to weld ... would it be worth it to pay the mechanic 85bucks and do it ? or is is really an easy DIY job

The smoke is normal. Most exhausts will smoke like crazy the first time they get hot...it will all burn off though!

And depending on how much they are sticking out, it may be normal. When they get hot, it will expand and the tips will stick out a little further.

The N1 is for the R53...the Q300 is the only one they make for the 56.

I had an Invidia N1 on my R53...loved that one as much as the Q300 on my 56 too

Ya, these smoke like crazy at first. Thought my car was on fire

The rattle takes a bit to fix. I would leave the plate on. You can use spacers, but those would change how it works. I fixed the rattle by loosening the rear clamp and jacking up on the pipe at the joint (put a block of wood under the jack) I also put a block of wood between the car and the pipe at the muffler. This will tend to "bend" the pipe a little at the joint. It doesn't take a lot to do this so be careful not to damage the pipe. Then tighten the clamp really well with it jacked up and then lower it. I took me several tries, tightening the clamp a little more each try. This also gave a little more clear between the outlets and the bumper.

Hey guys, are your pipes fulled seated into each other? I have about 1/2" slack on the resonator side and fully seated on the rear section and it bangs against the cross-plate when i lift off the throttle and when going thru dips in the road. I had it all fully seated but it banged all the time, even during idle.
