Drivetrain Intercoolers
Thats so un-American off you, as the wife pointed out a dyno sheet is a lot prettier than a time slip
Good to see you still around Isellem

Trackster,
Danny tried many times to break 200 with the Gintani IC, Gintani header, custom software tunes and two different cylinder heads. He never broke 200 until he added RMW's Head and header. I think thats the point Jan is trying to make.
Yes he had the Gintani on during the 251 Dyno. But, it had nothing to do with the numbers.

i garuntee if you put a stock intercooler on that car and ran three dyno runs you would see that the intercooler made a GIGANTIC DIFFERNCE.
Good to be back... well sometimes... some of the stuff people post is unreal... the nutswinging on this message board still hasnt gone away... there are just new nuts to swing on
I really do not see how 22 hp can be shown as nothing ?
And as Danny posted earlier :
And It dynoed @ 176 back over two years ago.
Then with a Gintani intercooler got 198.
If the gain from the Gintani was taken from the equation the 251 would net down to 229 which is in the stock valve head territory . I know it is not as simple as that and maby vary one or two HP but you get the drift and by avoiding it so do we. I really do not think that Jan misread Johans post but I suppose we can give him the benefit of the doubt again .

The Gintani is a good intercooler.... I wish it wasn't so much $$ because I would consider it.
Pre RMW's head / header with Gintani= 198 WHP
Post install of RMW's head / header and ??? with Gintani = 251 WHP
What I'm I missing.

Gintani is about $1500 too much for my blood
try the madness intercooler its like 1200 or 1300... not much more than the wonderfully awesome super duper fantabulous m7 DFIC!
W2A will have some new players ......
well the MM W2A is really nice for those considering. Very well built and light weight.
Rmw head / header and NO Gintani = 230 or less
I think that is fairly obvious ?
more whp no ..... I think about 250-260 whp that is consistent is my target..... I have been chasing it for a few years now and after next week at LDG we should hit it or be very close..... My IC solution to maintain that power while driving the twisty roads of N GA and NC....is now up for grabs....that is why this thread is so interesting to me..... the second version of the DFIC optimized for a 235+ car sounds good as I still belive in the concept of DFIC
THat has been the rap but I don't think anyone has really documented it.... that is part of what I hope to learn..... someone (like you) will counter the claims..... you have the MM?
MM?
Any pics?? What kind is it and how much does it cost?
There are allot of us out here looking for a better mouse trap.

All products get improved...... I am pretty sure that M7 is working on something...... if there is anything significant I am sure Peter will let us know
Hard to tell but it looks very well made. It also looks very thick. Looking through the front scoop does the top of the IC sit level with bottom edge of the scoop?
Very clean looking engine Motz.

couldn't be true...
Peter and M7 build the best products on the plannet. They never make a mistake... ever... all of there products are without a doubt the best... just ask peter... he will tell you
