Glad to see new ground being broken. While I believe Madness was running with a centrifugal blower, I never got confirmation, or saw a photo...

Happy to see it and the TB is what appears to be the stock location. I'd be very interested in a solution, that when installed, one would be hard-pressed to notice any visual difference when compared to stock.

The Rotrex is getting a little over 300whp on the 350Z, so 300 might be a stretch for us, or entail other ingredients. I'd be a happy camper with 250 though. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Paul,

The Rotrex boys stopped by for the birth. All of us had very big smiles and are very excited about the way it works and fits.

Can you guess how the water runs through the engine now?

Yes, the TB is in the stock location. With everything installed, unless you know what to look for, it doesn't look any different.

Thank about how much cooler the intake manifold is now.

Longboard, I noticed you still have the BPV. Do you still need that with the Rotex?

Great question!

Based on the position of the throttle body the answer would be NO it isn't needed with how the Rotrex works. We used it anyway for now to see the differences on fuel economy as we go through testing of the product. Most cars that have throttle bodies on the intake manifold need a BPV or blow off valve since the throttle body is PAST the supercharger. We will be testing many variations of the system until we are satisfied with the final kit.

I was thinking that same thing when I looked at the pic. Once you get it all set, i'd be interested to see what kind of IATs and boost numbers you have.

Excellent job and congrats on doing something new.

Thanks Jan - we are desperate here at NAM for something else to discuss than Sid's BUTT (see interior/exterior section)

PS - if you could work some girls into the video, it would be much appreciated - again the "hot topic" has been Sid's Butt.

The credit go's to Jan and Mike his Fab guy. They really did an excellent job.

I am stuck at work today and won't be able to be there for the testing.

thank you Sid,

I will be doing some form of thread on it after it's running and the history of the car at some point , we are nearing the completion of some REVOLUTIONARY stuff on the drag car. I can tell you this is exciting stuff and once ironed out you will see some impressive numbers if we can get it to the ground!

Jan-
Is that the WP336 from Meziere you are using for the cooling system? That's what I am using and it works without a hitch. Only minor issue we faced was getting the darn thing purged. Electrical seems tougher to do than mechanical......

Looks good overall. I wait to hear just how the car feels in driving. Having any CEL issues? Keeping a SC format probably avoids the upstream MAP sensor issues we turbo guys face with the stock ECU......

Yes its the Meziere and we got it purged fairly quickly yesterday.
The car from the low boost stage was very smooth and linear.
We will be playing with more pullies today to up the boost.
No CEL lights as it's a happy camper!
