It don't help.

I dunno. Maybe it's just me, but I got a bottle of this, put it in the gas tank with my last fill-up, and I didn't notice any better horsepower or gas mileage. Is it just me? I did notice the exhaust looked cleaner, and the stuff coming out was clear. Oh, and the guy behind me at the light while I was revving my engine really liked it. Any help?

This is happening when? Only during the time of wiping off the excess? Is it happening during application?

What applicator are you using to apply BW?

Thanks
For me... Temps over 100, almost no humidity. Static during application with sponge applicator and removal of excess. FWIW I noticed the static is much worse on the old, weathered plastic.

temp for me was 50F and 65%RH.

the static built up after i rubbed the arch back and forth to spread
the orange goodness like a poorman's jelly sandwich...and REALLY built up
when i used paper towel to remove excess.

it's just the way it is. ive been suspecting that from imago-x's post.
you need to neutralize it using either QD or calduster.

This weekend temperature was about 75 deg F and 15% relative humidity.
I used a foam tire treatment applicator from Eagle 1.
FWIW I can generate static when rubbing on the plastic trim using a MF towel as well. Whether it is Nero, Wizards or BW it doesn't seem to matter. I must have a shocking personality.

You guys are electrifying! I checked this morning to see if the caliduster helped. So far, no more dust. Will check again when I get home. Course rain is in our forecast today.

Richard. This stuff is amazing, it has really cleaned and brightened my trim. I do however have what I can only describe as uneven coverage in some spots. I used sparingly as recommended, but that seems to have left some areas wanting more. The car is getting a bath first thing when I get home tonight...I want to reapply but make sure I am doing it right. Any tips?

If the "uneven spots" is due to seeing some shininess there, don't worry, the shine isn't meant to last. That is, after your first wash, most of the shine will go away and your trim will have a more even, dark, matte appearance.

We finally got our electricity back--it's been out for the past 4 days! So now I'm going to shoot a little video...somehow anyways--between order fulfilling...LOL

It happens for me both during application and removal. I used a MF-covered sponge/applicator to apply and paper "shop towels" to remove. It's been in the 70s here and typical California (lack of) humidity.

i could be that or just some previous dressing leftover from the previous
dressing they used. you should probably sell trim cleaner with your
BW "kit."

i would recommend BW, that small shoe polish foam applicator i used,
and some cleaner to remove old dressing. all for $25.

The response of the trim during the wash was unreal. The trim looked like it had wax on it. The wash did help to even out the trim, althought there are a few tiny spots that may need a second helping. It does look unbelievably good, better than when I picked the car up from the dealer even. And a quick dry and wipe with my microfiber towel was all it needed to look great.

nice. this is what i like to hear. i should apply BW to the grill next time
i wash, each honey comb at a time. this car is such a pita to wash and
dry to OCD level. to many little bits and pieces. my civic is washed in
less than 15min. MCS takes me like 2hrs. lol

^ wow... i'm glad to hear you say that kenchan... i thought it was just because I was a newbie, but the more I wash and detail my MINI, the more things I find I need to do... I've done my wheels plenty of times (since they get dirty so quickly), but I've just realized that I need about 3 different tools to clean them properly... then there's the engine bay... but I won't sidetrack this thread.

Used BW for the first time today and all I can say is Wow. This stuff is amazing.

Left side is after, right side of trim is before.

Don't hate on the Cherokee, after all, its engine is 2.5 times bigger than your MINI's!

no, not because you're a newb at all! this car has too
many little bits and pieces and takes forever to dry...i hit it with a
blower but still have water dippage here and there for at least 3-4
more hours after the final wipe down.

this is why i wanted to try BW cause i didnt want to go back and re-apply
dressing each and every frikken time i wash the car! just too
much hassle.

That and your car is probably 5 times more fun to drive. Although you probably can't do as much as my Cherokee: you can't go offroading (hardcore), have 4 wheel drive, or get single digit gas mileage.

mcd- i think he will get single digit gas milage cause he will get stuck
within the first few feet of offroading.

For PayPal, go to my store at

https://www.showcardetailing.com/esh...arch=yes&bc=no

I can accept MC/Visa/Amex/Disc/PayPal

Choose USPS for shipping method and choose First Class Mail for the most economical way to ship for 1 to 2 bottles. Once you get to 3 and up, FedEx Ground is better.

Just a little heads up

1.) There are currently approximately 60 orders split between NAM and SCD that I'm still trying to fulfill. I got out another 28 of them today. So expect a delay of atleast a week right now before shipping.

2.) The current NAM pricing $15.95 ($13.95+$2shipping) is an Introductory Pricing that was set for the launch of BW. Due to costs beyond my control (I way underestimated the actual manufacturing and shipping costs), the price is going to have to go up a bit at some point in the near future. Everyone will be given plenty of time to order before that happens--I will announce when that cut off will be with atleast one week notice, but for now, I want to get caught up with orders.

Richard

Just like to say how happy I am with WOW. I was outside enjoying a nice cigar the other night and I looked over at my mini and my black trim looked as good as new and I havent washed my car in two weeks.(Haven't drove it too much had a staple removed from my knee from ACL surgery 4 years ago)

So I am not neglecting my Mini
