What are anyones thoughts on applying it to my sidesteps on my SUV? Will it make them too slick and dangerous? Or will it leave the texture as is?

Also I see the price is now $24.95? I thought OG originally said it would be $13.95? Thats quite a price increase plus shipping. Anyone want to split a bottle?

No you don't want to apply it to anywhere that you might step on it. You will be extremely sorry.

As for the price increase, where have you been? Interesting that you would know about a price from so long ago during predevelopment, but this is only your second post--and you're not asking about applying it to a MINI...oh ok. You're an SUV owner (Outlook XR Cocoa/Black), not a MINI owner, that's what confused me.

Welcome to NAM.

I actually read the pricing spec in this thread, not fishy at all. Read it on page 1. I am just a lurker on this forum, not a mini owner but enjoy the good information here. I was looking to buy some BW thats all and a bit surprised at the price.

Also just for you OG I added a gallery...

You're right. Actually I edited my post before you replied, so I apologize. Thought you were someone else initially.

Shouldn't be too surprised about the price--any of the early discounts applied only to the MINI owners that helped me test the product. The price had to be raised once production began to accommodate the high cost of the raw materials.

There are plenty of cheaper products on the market. They are designed to be reapplied constantly so that you will use up the bottle and buy more product.

If you're looking for more information on BW, then check out my site at

www.black-wow.com and watch the video there.

Also check out my discussion forum, lots of discussion over there on www.showcardetailing.com

Thanks for the info and the welcome. I am pretty active on some Outlook boards and someone once pointed me here to the detailing section and I have been lurking ever since. I talked myself into the Hydro that everyone here hyped (loved!) and now will probably break down and buy a bottle of BW (but keep off my sidesteps).

You're welcome. I just edited the URL to the BW--forgot the hyphen! www.black-wow.com

Anyhow, yes I had a customer who put BW on his running boards despite my telling him not too, and he has been trying for months on how to get the BW off!

First post has been edited to include the BW How To video, thanks to NAMs new YouTube embedding feature.
