yah, it's considerable effort and excersise to keep cars looking new.

my back's kinda sore today from breaking the rusted bolts free yesterday on the FitS's rear suspension.
the new ride height (about 3/4" higher than before on the rear) is actually pretty good cause the weight
distribution seems to be more ideal. it looked better lower but oh well.

my replacement company phone called bb TORCH should be here in a few days.

my BOLD is starting to show quite a bit of wear and tear from the 2.5yrs of use... lately the backlight for the LCD is flickering at times and kinda worrying me... actually my company is worried more than me cause they know i am a heavy user and they want me to be on the job 24/7.

woot, got some dynamat coming in for my Z in a few days. this car
has a lot of road noise seeping through the trunk and so going to tame it down.

i shouldve done it while i had the trunk liner off the car during my rear camera
install but oh well. getting 8 sheets of 12x36 so should be plenty to do. also
got their roller as well.

 

so ATT's giving our HR manager a hard time on my new bb TORCH...

4 people told her it's back ordered. one person said it shipped... so 25% confidence my phone will arrive this week.

anyway, it appears UPS delivered my z goods this am. nothing fansy.
just factory bits that needs to be replaced from the hood damper install done earlier

 

so the screwups over at ATT did apparently ship the TORCH... at least there is a package heading
to my office. not sure which phone is inside though...hopefully they shipped the right one.

so tonight got the new factory bits installed. looks clean again.

A Hyundai Veracruz has about 5x as much paint surface area as a MCS convertible. Ask me how I know.

Just bought one for the wifey yesterday, like this (but not this one):


Hard to tell from the photo - paint is a deep indigo/cobalt blue pearl metallic. New off the lot, paint was in good shape, no swirls, few contaminants, so I alcohol wiped it and Epic'd it. Let it dry a couple of hours and buffed off. Looks goooooooood now. Made it look about the color of the water out past The Wall at Grand Turk. I'm sure in the morning it will look insane.

Dynamted my Z last night, took 3hrs or so to do the trunk and rear arches.

 

got the new blackberry Torch running 9800... had to downgrade the os to get the japanese fonts to work (1.41 to 1.35)

 

So was it any quieter after all that?

Well I e-mailed Griot's Garage and actually got a reply today. They have had the Buyer/Points Program in discussion before so my e-mail may have re-ignited the issue.

I was asked to submit my e-mail along with a pic. of Molly and my new to me Trek 7500 Hybrid, since I wrote that I also detailed my New Bike along with giving Molly a bath. They want to use it in Letter of the Month!!

 

Don't know yet, will find out tomorrow.

Motored my Z this am, and changed the oil after the drive.

The dynamat did significantly lower the noise...there's still noise in the cabin
But its like 1/2 now.

Will do the doors when I swap out the components as well.

Jep! the touch screen is kinda werd though. If you're into touch screens the droidX kicksarse!

Taking me a while to get use to it from my previous Bold.
I only got the Torch because its a company phone.
