Hardwired my V1 on the Z.

Its going to be pretty nice out tomorrow so thinking about pulling out my Z again. and pull out my G on Sunday.
I'm suppose to be getting a compass mirror for the white FitS on Sat so hope to wire that up as well.

Anyone doing any car things this weekend?

waiting for the wife to come back from the supermarket... (im home with the kids).
had dense fog early morning and had to offset my motoring time. too
dangerous to drive, too wet to drive the garage queen.

even at 8:30am it was still pretty damp and somewat foggy outside so
decided to let her do the errands before i pull out my Z. hope she
likes the new mirror on her (mine?) FitS.

Meet Merv,

More to follow, but now I have to pack, going to D.C. this week.

Laptop's hard drive melted down, that's why I have been AWOL.

I'm not talking about it. As it may involve another site, and confusion about the order infractions/warning are issued.

Ha ha! That's great! Congrats! Looks like it is just the right size for a sleeping bag (or mattress).

Weighs in at 600 lbs. About 100 lbs at the hitch. Tows like a dream.

Maybe you can help me out here;

that's a nice weight. not too light so you got stability while pulling, yet only 100lbs at the hitch.

yah, i can almost see OG carrying his goodies in there and
sleeping with it (inside his shop).

a member at the Fit forum used a heatgun to unfade his pickup truck's
plastic/rubber side step.

i wonder if that would work on the MINI's arches... cause i do
remember long time ago i was trying to bend back a black trim on one of
my parent's domestic cars (back in the 80's) using a heatgun. at the time,
i thought i melted it by accident because it turned into a deep black, but
perhaps i just unfaded it.
