Wish those nice shoes would fit on my fat feet.
Blimey needs new shoes - all seasons for my spare wheels - still running my summer tires and living dangerously (well, not THAT dangerously, since it almost never snows here) - but I still want a set to run during Jan/Feb just in case...
I got 9 days in the Caribbean - completely off the grid - no cell phone, no email, no web - first time EVAR I've been offline for that long (well, since there WAS such a thing as "online", anyway)...
Just got back to my 600+ emails and unreadable numbers of new posts on my forums... this is progress?!?!?
lol:
While I was gone, my two cig lighter rechargeable lights and my new "euro/R56" armrest came - like this one...

Gotta get all the other parts to convert my OEM armrest installation to a "non-armrest" installation, so I can use this one instead... the top is an inch or so higher (my elbow doesn't reach the OEM rest) and it has more usable storage, and it doesn't slide open every time you freaking touch it like the OEM one does (the armrest is the only thing I dislike about my car...)
Oh, yeah - and I gotta find some leather or vinyl to match my dark blue seats to re-cover the pad on top of this thing...

blimey- welcome back!
must be nice out there in the islands. dang, you got twoof em' lighter flashlights, huh? are those small LED's on the side
of the housing and do they light up when it's charging?

nice looking armrest. looks expensive.
i noticed griots no longer carries Facom. so ordered elsewhere for the
1/4 drive.
btw, these 1/4 drive are pretty cool and useful for little things, but
it has a hard time securing sockets and especially adapters.
had an adapter plop off while i was removing my battery on my
other car and hit the terminals.
i had my safety glasses on and
work gloves so no injuries, but let me just say it created enough spark
to melt the very tip of the battery terminal.
i highly recommend NOT getting these.

i need to QD my MCS again since he was sitting outside for about 5hrs
last night (while i was working on my other car) and got frost all over
the roof and bonnet.
hopefully my other decorative parts will arrive soon so i can do it all
together.

Yeah... you do that a LOT, Ken. One would think you're used to it by now.
And hey !! What happened to my "B" ???
And hey, Blimey... you were gone ?!!??!!?!?!?!???!?!?!?!??!!
Glad you're back, my friend. Sounds like a PERFECT vacation !!

Vacation was beyond perfect, if that's possible.
Ken - sorry for the delay - yeah, I got the nice lights with the "side LEDs" - in reality, the side holes are just holes - you see the side of the main lens through them. Behind the lens is both a high intensity white LED, and a very low intensity blue LED - so when the thing is plugged in and charging (I assume) both the lens on top and the side holes glow a nice, calm blue - not bright at all.
I like the lights. Used one to do my armrest replacement a couple of nights ago and it ran a long time and was nice and bright and focused.

hey, guys thanks for the sympathy posts.
LOL
CR&PW&BJ- i thought you wanted me to spell it quick without the "B" ?
blimey- thanks for the info. that flashlight sounds good. i might get one
and just keep it plugged in just for the hell of it. interior illumination is
fun and cool.
old81- they only sold it to walk-in customers but they might have some
left. griot's has a decent collection over there... or just buy direct
from www.piloti.com
