Woo hoo!! I finally saw a friendly MINI!!! I think it was SallyKat! It was at the JoAnns in Columbia. I was leaving and there was two cars behind me. I was going to leave you a note, but I realized that I had to get back to RockHELL and pick up the husband....too bad I didn't see you in the store.

I guess you live in the same vicinity as my parents (Annandale, near the NOVA
Community College). My brother was also home (he lives in Philadelphia) and he has a dark silver Cooper S (which he has heavily modded), so I had a very MINI filled weekend.

Went out for a drive, saw a Red MC named Reggie at the Tenley Post Office.

Also saw PMT(refer to my last set of posts ) parked on Wisconsin Ave.

 

On the Fox5 10pm news last night. They showed a Mobile gas station in Bowie and me pumping gas. They showed a story that earlier that month the gas station had bad gas and they were filming some random stuff to make a story

They had a lady on that got some of the bad gas which cause $2500 in damages to her Acura MDX

 

So if you know they've had problems in the past with bad gas why would you go there?

 

Thats just the thing. I didn't know they had problems in the past. I found out last night when the story aired

 

...as I was filling my tank with bad gas...

 

Red_5 spotted at Arundel Mills yesterday. I was on my way out of the parking lot and had to pull over and take a walk around, and peek inside at R2

become1 - was that you at the Capital Driving Club Autocross in Manassas a week and a half ago? I wasn't paying attention to the license plate. I wasn't there with my MINI; I was with my son in his STI. I live in Herndon and see your car every once in a while.

 

Had a GREAT Mini moment the other night, don't think it is anyone here though, but I was turning left onto McAuthur Blvd, and a BRG MCSC stopped and let me in, and then a Red MCS came up the other way and turned right onto whatever street I was turning off of. WE all stopped, honked, waved, held up traffic and laughed! It was great!!

 

Drove south on Rockville Pike to Wisconsin Ave to M street NW to PA Ave to H st to PA ave to Southern MD. Saw a lot of MINIs on the way. One or 2 waved. The rest were busy navigating traffic. Some of the Verts had the roof up which is a no-no, especially on a nice day like yesterday.

IB MCC in the New Carollton Metro parking garage yesterday (Thursday).

 

YUP! That was me. My husband and I were driving. We got the EXACT SAME TIME. 45.83. How annoying.

Also, saw a beautful PW with PW Aero Grills and Aero kit on Lawyers Rd around 7pm. Very nice!
