Mach V Track Day Oct. 11-12 2008
It's the third, or fourth, or whatever, Mach V Track Day! We're sponsoring a NASA HPDE weekend at Summit Point, WV. Mach V customers, friends, and fans will have a special paddock area where we can all hang out. We'll have some special goodies to give away.
The date: October 11-12, 2008.
There are groups for drivers of all experience levels, from full-on racers, to rank novices. Anyone can drive. I'll be driving my '07 MCS.
Registration is now open! Sign up quickly, because this event fills up fast.

This sounds interesting indeed.
While some of us is waiting for the Phil Wick's schedule (tentatively for Nov), this should fit in nicely into the schedule.
Thank you, Dan, for the info. This is awesome.

ooooh! very tempting! I was at summit point recently for an audi event and really enjoyed it (the Shenandoah circuit I believe). Might have to sign up if I can find the funds. While I am all about another phil wicks (2-day!) driving event next year, doubt I can take anymore vacation days this year and the drive is a bit of a hassle!

We had our fourth annual Mach V Track Day event this past weekend. It's a NASA weekend that we sponsor, and we invite all our customers/friends/community to come out. I drove the shop '07 MCS on the track for the first time, and it was a hoot.
We also debuted our Sbuaru Impreza shop car, which worked great -- two drivers drove it all weekend without a hitch. The car worked well and was a lot of fun.
We had fantastic weather for the event. There was some great racing, too, including a fierce battle between NASIOC members wallyman424 and spazegun2213.

Thanks to everyone who came by and said hi. We got a lot of great positive feedback about the project car. Thanks to NASIOCer mav1c, who was instructer/passenger in both the cars we ran this weekend.
See you next year.

We introduced ourselves, but I forget his name.
About two hours total. Six 20-minute sessions on track.
