Installed the JCW BBK over the weekend so I am selling the original calipers and carriers from my 2012 R56S. Parts were removed at 32K miles.

Included:
1) Front Calipers with carriers, with nearly new (less than 2K miles) OEM pads and sensor, replaced under the maintenance program a few months ago.

2) Rear Calipers with carriers.

I will include the following (will cost extra for shipping) if you want them:

3) Front rotors - they are at 21.5mm (vs. minimum of 20.4mm) which Mini says is good for the life of the new pads.
4) Rear rotors, pads, and sensor. Rotors are 9.9mm (vs. minimum of 8.4mm) Pads are worn, I'd replace them. Sensor is worn but not yet broken.
5) A set of front EBC Yellowstuff pads used for track days, still some useful life left.

Buyer pays shipping, or meet in the San Francisco / San Jose area to hand off in person.

Pricing on ECS Tuning for the calipers and carriers is almost $1500, so this is a great way to upgrade your R53 to the JCW equivalent front caliper.

 

I buy all four calipers all the time at $120, which I rebuild, powdercoat and lay the JCW decal under clear coat for perfect clones. In fact I have several rebuilt powdercoated sets for sale at $350 for the calipers. Their dirt cheap from any dismantlers, not trying to be rude, just giving you a realistic value from someone who buys several sets every couple weeks. However considering you have the calipers and pads, I'd be willing to go $300. Which is fair, considering I need to spend another $50 for new seals to rebuild, $10 in decals, $20 powdercoat, 8 hrs labor, and I'll probably sell them for $500. As you see, I'm not low balling at all, I i fact am making little profit and below minimum wage on my labor. Just lemme know.

 

eMINI - "not trying to be rude, just giving you a realistic value" would be better as a PM. He is selling the parts and the price isn't that bad. Your $120 price can not be for all 4 calipers. I have priced them and even aftermarket direct fit JCW replacement calipers go for $120 each for fronts. IDK.. maybe you get a hookup on price.

 

Yeah, I guess that came off rude. I apologize. I do network quite a bit and have established ongoing relationships with dismantlers, and repeated business and bulk sales goes aways. While I don't currently have any rear calipers due to lack of demand, I do have a few sets of JCW front calipers I'm letting go for $300 a pair. They're rebuilt with few seals, and guaranteed not to fade of run, they will always stay pretty and red.

 

Oh I'm not looking for JCW's specifically. I may or may not need calipers and have found a source in the event I do. I was just checking to see if the price was in my budget which while it's not it's still a good price for all he's offering.
