I was thinking about the picture thing.

Couldn't Apple give us a picture of the title/registration? Martha had to sign it over to her, right? She could blur out all the personal data.

or a picture of the keys. They're not locked up in storage with the car, right?

Just thinking about something to raise our hopes up.

Anyway Happy New Year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!
I actually did watch part of it. **** Clark might be older than 79 but I don't know for fact. It's been several years since his stroke... with so much therapy relearning activities and all the regaining/retraining coordination within his brain he still has a difficult time getting the words out. Gotta love him for being there one more year though! I'm glad he hasn't given up yet... lots of people would have. I think it's kind of inspiring to see him and yet at the same time I feel a little sad.

Those are exactly my feelings,,, that must have been a really bad stroke. I was cracking up, watching the live shots of the celebrants and what they were wearing to stay warm, OMG it was so cold and windy last night!! I was really "diggin" those 2009 glasses people were sporting
Back to the posting frenzy last night, I can't tell you when I have laughed so hard, we are usually at a party on NY Eve but I gotta tell you I had fun spending it at home and on this thread.

Hey did anyone notice my heartbreak of being #999?

Oooh, I like the idea of a picture of the keys-- do the classics have neat key fobs like the newer generations?

Nope. The classics just had single sided key (at the mid-60's models I had). When I was stationed in England I was told by a mechanic friend there were only 25 or 30 different key patterns available at that time. for Mini's.

So? Does this mean that someone's key had the chance of possibly unlocking another mini ???

I would guess so.

But at the time (mid to late 70's) a Mini was kinda considered to be a crap car; so no one really made a effort to steal them. I thought they were great. In my 3 years over there I traded my 66 MG Midget for a Mini van, then went to two different sedans before I came back to the states.

Not unusual at all, through 1967 one handfull of assorted GM keys would cover any GM auto, Chevy to Caddie for the previous thirty years or so.

I just noticed this thread today. Read through the whole 27 page saga.

Not even a picture of it posted yet or did I miss it some how?

I'm still waiting on Apple to post a picture of the modified Nav screen thing she promised.

I wouldn't hold your breath on the car...

Nope, no pictures yet. Pictures and videos of about everything else, though.

Yeah, I would've liked to change my Nav screen, but as Fleetwood Mac says, "Oh Well"!

Sorry, still no pictures. Wish you didn't have to read all the pages, but I'm sure you found out a lot of interesting things about those posting in here Pictures should be coming shortly as Sandy had mentioned this weekend...
