Ahh... a troublesome troll that's an attention seeker (hmmm... well she does have pink hair and she doesn't have clothes on )... but she's not bored, causes no real controversy and thankfully she has no idea how to use the internet! Mine is not a naughty troll.

Of course I forgive you.And so today I learned something new... there are good trolls and bad trolls... one should feed accordingly!

Maybe I'll make a folder in my gallery with the adventures of Ms Pink Troll (if I can figure that out and find the time). I was just watching a driving video we made with her and looking through the pictures. I am silly.

This is truly troubling. yet... I find myself still hoping that skillet gets his mini. No matter what condition it is in or how long it takes. I guess I'm an optimist. Then again... I have been searching and waiting for my mini for over 4 years now.

So skillet.. if you're ever in the St. Louis area, and you want to take the offer, I'd be more than willing to let you take Tink for a spin around the block. Gotta spread the classic love.

In a nice tone, I sent her an e-mail this morning saying pretty much that it's ******** she can't offer a picture. I told her I know she's not stupid, as she put a video on youtube, and she's had the time as her activity on the other forums has been pretty active...In one post, she states that "she's bored"....I know something she can do

 

Miniola- I was just working on a client and thinking to myself hhmmm, maybe miniola should show us photos of her pnk troll - didn't you say that she goes along on all of your travels??

Good!! We have all tippytoed around trying not to rock the boat but it has gone on for waaay to long. Glad you are pushing just a bit. And hey, if she has some legitimate issues that has kept her from keeping her promises then I will be the first to apologize,,, but enough is enough already!!

good for you, i think your email to her was simply stated and my feeling is "honesty is the best policy" so it is only fair to you for her to be honest... Even if she just changed her mind, be honest!!!! you deserve that much!!! People are allowed to change their minds, but but do it ethically!

 

Whats really cool is the Iphone has a Pandora app also so you can use it that way. Its very cool and I highly recommend it also.

 

The thing with flakes are that they are just like stoners. They're harmless, but they still p*ss you off because of letting things fall through the cracks, not following through, etc. I'm hoping that Apple's intentions were good and she's just a flake (or maybe she's stoned) but really, its not hard to take a photo, especially if you're bored. Like Gem says, just some honesty would be nice, if she changed her mind or whatever.

All the same, this has been the best thread on NAM for so many..
and for so long.

And no, I don't think anyone needs to be banned, hated or flamed.

Floridians give away old cars and boats etc. all the time, usually to the local PBS TV Station or something,
but NAM would fit a 30 year old Mini better, so I'm still 'pullin' for Skillet.

I have an old friend who I told I love Standing Ovations. Well, she gave me one and now I have an extra. I am willing to give my extra standing ovation to the first person to respond to my message. There will be no charge for shipping, but maybe one for handling.

 

Particularly when you go and read her other posts on that forum and note that she put a "macbook air" up for grabs on a thread and then promptly got banned.

I hate to be a jerk too... and skillet, I know that you knew this was a long shot when you went in. It certainly was worth it to throw your hat into the ring on the off chance that she wasn't a flake, but having followed her posts on several other forums at this point, trying to gather information about how legitimate her offer to you really was, I think we should call this turkey done. I don't think any less of you for saying, "Sure, I'll take a free classic." I certainly don't think you're a fool or a donkey's behind. Not at all. You just had the courage to take her up on the offer, that's all.

I agree that the mods of this forum should consider taking some sort of action against her at this point, but that is ultimately their call and whatever decision they make is fine by me.

That said, I have had so much fun following this thread. The folks here have made this a lot of fun. And let me tell you all that this much fun can only happen here, with this amazing group of people. You guys are made of love and WIN.

 

OK... so I can't see a "stereogram" but this is crazy... like 6 degrees of separation but worse. Here goes:

Link above shows "macrumors"... My brain instantly thinks "Fleetwood Mac- Rumours"... CC had previously posted "Fleetwood Mac" video and Stevie Nicks was discussed. The Fleetwood Mac "Rumours" album was supposed to have the song "Silver Springs" (town where Apple lives). Then came "Gypsy" on the "Mirage" album. Martha Mini Mirage? Is this one giant riddle that we're supposed to figure out?

 

Wow... that is way more conspiracy theory than I ever figured would come out of this thread!
